ST Table Read in London

Centralized thread to discuss the upcoming table read which will likely be the first official confirmation of the cast.

Will we get any photos or *gasp* audio recordings or *gasp gasp* insights into the plot???

I've heard today or tomorrow morning. You're right, my bet is on today.

This is the one time I hope paparazzi do their jobs and do it well. JJ may yet try to keep things under wraps until May 4th.

 

I mean we've got to assume that at some point Disney may feel pressured to release info a little earlier than they wanted to, right? If news about a table read has leaked and there's a possibility/probability that news or photos will leak from that, wouldn't Disney want to just announce and control the story on their own terms?

This was posted yesterday evening, so table read should be today somewhere in London.

I'm glad he does, bcs I'm like an undisciplined junkie when it comes to SW spoilers!

 

Would be very interesting for the big 3 to get back into the head space of characters they have not played since 1982 - and to do it with the knowledge that it is 30 years later.

 

JJ may feel that he can pull off the impossible and prevent leakage. I think its 50/50 that we'll get an update on StarWars.com reporting about the table read. I expect a major update (leak or official reporting) by the end of the day. Fortunately the UK is 5 hrs ahead of where I am.

I skipped college class just to see the teaser trailer for TPM. It played in front of Meet Joe Black and it was an afternoon screening. Education can wait. This is Star Wars man! Get on that train!

So tempting to get the train into London this afternoon, Just on the off chance I see the cast; but my studies are beckoning to me :/

 

Sadly the only thing I'm expecting to hear out of the table read is "It went well"

When doing a table read and an actor comes to a part where he/she ignites his/her lightsaber... Is it impossible not to attempt the sound?
