'TAGGED' Authors - UPDATE

INSTALL NOTICE: Mindvision hasn't gotten back to me with the license still. There is a temporary fix to make the installer work. If you download the installer and set your computer's clock to June 21, 2002 the program will install properly and then you can reset your clock to the proper time. I apologize for this but I am still waiting for the proper license code and my patience is growing thin.

oh my gosh that is so cool. It would really help, I'm still trying to read the first in the If the Mask Fits trilogy!

 

That is the purpose of the program. However, most of the authors are only putting the tags in their new fics and new posts. You can ask Am to go back and put the tags in her older fics as well, if she has enough requests she just may do it.

You my start noticing titles that say 'TAGGED' in them... those are fics that are definitely compatible with the program and already include the tags.

 

I'd be interested in being a "TAGGED" author. Lord knows I could use the readers...

Ok I'm ready to start distributing the program. There are currently two download versions. One is for people with the VB Runtime files already which can be found here:
Jedi Council... Tagged!!!

And the other is a much larger file for those without the runtime files which I am still working on uploading. If you want you can go to Microsoft.com and download the runtime files there and come back for the other download, or you can wait for me to upload the runtime files and program.

For any questions or comments on the operation of the program or anything in regard to the program PM me or email me and I will address your questions. Currently the program had only been tested on Windows 98 and XP, but it should also work on Windows 95 and ME.

I don't suppose it'll ever work for Macs?

 

Maybe at some point in the future... but not right now. Sorry, I've never programmed for Macs and don't know anybody that does... but maybe there is another programmer out there that would like to make a Mac version.

 

Oh can I be tagged? This is so cool. Every author should do this.

That's okay, most people use PCs anyway. I mostly just read stuff straight off the internet.

Wow the list keeps growing and growing. Just out of curiousity how many people have downloaded the current version... w/o the runtime files. And if you have how is it working?

 

OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOHhh.......... I want one... That would be SO nifty!

 

I've downloaded the program, and the VB runtime files from Microsoft, and it still doesn't work. It can't find "RICHTX32.OCX"

Also, what are the tags that need to be added to the posts.

Also I uploaded the file Jairen said he needed. RICHTX32 - Just download the zip and take the two files and place them in the same folder as the other files for the program.

There may be more files required after you get this one set up. I will keep uploading and linking these files until the program works completely. Also once I get the version with Runtime files uploaded to a good, free server everything will be included in the one download so you won't have to hunt for the files. The search continues for a server... I apologize for the running around those of you that really want this must do until then.
