Good deal Qwi... wondered when you would mosey on in here. Consider yourself tagged and instructions will arrive via PM shortly. Don't worry it's pretty easy.

Ok version 1.0.0.5 is now up for download and their is a new setup system. I'm using VISE Installer now and it has been reduced to a single file to download... just follow the link on the first post and it will take you to the proper place.

I cannot garauntee that the program will work with XP or any NT based systems. For some people it works flawlessly and for others it doesn't work at all on XP, I feel it is tempermental at best. But it works almost perfectly on Win 9X systems.

Any bugs or errors you find be sure to report to me so that I might fix them.

I'm a new writer currently working on a fic. If this has the possibility of getting and keeping more readers. Then I am interested in being tagged.

 

What does tagging entail on the one being "tagged"?

Also, I only have two completed fanfics, with very small audiences, but perhaps getting tagged might draw more readers?

 

Being 'Tagged' means you place special tags in your story... they are easy to use and easy to remember. I'll go ahead and add both of you to the list and PM you the instructions.

I've been working on making icons... made 22 yesterday. Anyway a couple of them are for 'Tagged' Authors... you can go take a look at them here: Icons among other icons. Hopefully, some will get accepted and soon enough there will be icons for 'Tagged' Authors.

When i go to run the set-up i get the following error: The 3 day trial period for this program has expired. It was built with a demo version of installer VISE from mind vision software.

Anyway to get around it?

 

Oh yeah... that is my fault. I have to register it with the software company as freeware so they will give me a license for it... Doh! *smacks head*

Going to do it now I'll PM you when it is done.

BTW, I emailed the company that makes the installer software... they review applications for shareware licenses on Friday so I should hear something at the beginning of next week.

Hey, this looks really cool. But I'm a Mac user. Though I do have Microsoft Word on my computer. Will it work that way? And once I'm tagged, does that mean I can tag my story or that I can just download tagged stories, or do both?

Well since you're a Mac user you wont be able to download tagged threads... but you can still tag your stories for others to download. There may be a Mac version at some point, but right now there is only a windows version of the program. But if you would like to be a 'Tagged' Author let me know and I will add you to the list and PM you the instructions.
