Title: Tahiri and I Still Talk
    Author: Emeraldshadow
Genre: ~shrugs~ It seems slightly poem-esque
    Timeframe: Swarm War
Summary: Based on Jacen?s infamous line from Swarm War. Jacen reflects on how everybody is making a big deal about him and Tahiri.

    Tahiri and I still talk.
    I don?t see a problem with that
But apparently I?m the only one.

    Tahiri and I still talk.
    Big deal. Who cares?
    Everyone, naturally.

    Tahiri and I still talk.
    Why shouldn?t we?
    We were friends too.

    Tahiri and I still talk.
There isn?t a problem with it.
    My conscience is clear.

    Tahiri and I still talk.
    She understands me.
Who else in the Jedi order can say that?

    Tahiri and I still talk
    And that?s all we do
So please don?t look for any hidden subtext.

    Tahiri and I still talk.
Somebody please tell me what?s so bad about that
    Because I don?t have a clue.

    Tahiri and I still talk.
I enjoy hearing what she has to say
Even when it doesn?t help me further my agenda.

    Tahiri and I still talk
And now she?s getting sent to Dagobah because of it
Maybe it is a problem after all.

    No
    Tahiri and I talked
But it was her decision to do so
    My conscience is still clear.

    Welcome back Marie [face_dancing]

and It was a nice poem, I'm probably not the best one to offer remarks against poems because I don't really do them that well, but it was good, and convey's Jacen's consternation at the relationship between himself and Tahiri well.

Great job, and of course welcome back.....

    Welcome Back Marie [face_dancing] [:D]

Tell your mom I said thanks for letting you come back.

I too am not a 'poem' person. But I liked it.

Jacen may not think there's more than friendship between him and Tahiri, but I wonder how Tahiri feels about it? [face_thinking]

That calls for a sequal, someday. I'm just saying.

[face_thinking] I'm not familiar with the ilne so don't really understand why someone would make a big deal out it, but I really like this poem.

What would be wrong with just talking?

    Kidan: Welcome back Marie

    Glad to be back.

I'm probably not the best one to offer remarks against poems because I don't really do them that well,

I understand. Poetry is much harder than prose.

but it was good, and convey's Jacen's consternation at the relationship between himself and Tahiri well. Great job,

    Thank you.

    and of course welcome back.....

Redundancy aside, thank you, I'm glad to be back.:)

Lola: Welcome Back Marie [face_dancing] [:D]

~joins in with the dancing and hugging~ I've said it before and I'll say it again, I'm overjoyed to be making my return.

Tell your mom I said thanks for letting you come back.

    I will.

I too am not a 'poem' person. But I liked it.

I'm always glad to hear that I've made someone enjoy something that is not usually to their taste.

Jacen may not think there's more than friendship between him and Tahiri, but I wonder how Tahiri feels about it?

Is that an attempt to bait me into writing a Jacan/Tahiri fic?o_O

That calls for a sequal, someday. I'm just saying.

Oh, so it is an attempt to bait me into writing a J/T fic.:p

    Jedi_of_Ennth:You're back!

    ~jumps around like a hyperactive rabbit~ J_O_E!!!!![:D]

Awesome job with this vignette/poem/whatever you call it.

That's the thing, I don't know what you call it. Good thing I wasn't obvious about it.:p ;)

    I like it.

    I'm glad.

Healer Leona:]I'm not familiar with the ilne so don't really understand why someone would make a big deal out it,

It's a long story (at least the way I tell it;) ) but the short version is that Jacen used Tahiri to spy on the other Jedi for him during Swarm War and used the lame excuse-paraphrased by me here- "Tahiri and I still talk, sometimes Tesar and Lowie come up." when confronted about it. Jacen's abuse of his relationship with Tahiri and a couple hints dropped about the nature of said relationship during SwW caused much discussion among some groups of fans and, for whatever reason, that line was used in most of them.

but I really like this poem.

    Thank you.:D

What would be wrong with just talking?

    Nothing at all.

DarthIshtar:I like the cadence and the meaning of this. Well done, emeraldshadow.

Thank you, I thought it flowed pretty well myself.

I agree ES, people read to much into that line in The Swarm War.

As I'm sure you can imagine..my heart went all a flutter, hoping agaisnt hope that this might lead to a Jahiri...but I have to say, I was pleasantly thrilled by how great that was even if there was no Tahiri and Jacen PG-13 kissing.

You really nailed duplicious Jacen at the end there...yeah, she talked and Jacen used her and now she's in exhile...and now I'm depressed again!

Welcome back...I do understand and empathize with both you and your mother. I myself have gone through periods of being so sucked into this place I can barely get any RL stuff done, and hubby let's me hear all about it. But if my daughter was spending too much time on line talking to strangers...well, let's just say that there will always be parental controls on our computers and they will be placed in my office!

Great poem/story/vig...what are we calling this?

Some people really do ( and I know this first-hand because I am one of those people;) ).

Preggers: As I'm sure you can imagine..my heart went all a flutter, hoping agaisnt hope that this might lead to a Jahiri..

    Sorry to disappoint.

but I have to say, I was pleasantly thrilled by how great that was even if there was no Tahiri and Jacen PG-13 kissing.

Thank you. I?m glad you enjoyed it despite that apparent flaw.:p

Profic will depress you every time.

~nods in agreement~ I understood and respected her decision but I'm still happy it was repealed.

Great poem/story/vig...what are we calling this?

I think the consensus was poem.
