I'm at my sister's house in Maine, and over the past few days have discovered something new. I am, apparently, highly allergic to dogs. They have a big yellow lab (I think that's what he is), and there is dog hair and whatnot all through the house. My allergies have gone into super-duper-over-the-top out of control since I got here. Allergy pills aren't controlling it so far. I'm going to try double dosing today.

 

Allergies are still wildly out of control. I've never had them this bad or for this long. Literally I can feel prickles of irritation with every breath I take in. We're going outside for a drive and a picnic today. Hopefully my allergies will get a break. We'll be eaten alive by mosquitoes, of course, but hey, it'll be a change of pace from the allergies.

I know how you feel. I'm at the end of my rope with my allergies. If regular antihistamines don't work, you might ask your doc for some steroids, at least temporarily. They are the only thing that gives me any relief at all.

 

They normally don't bother me to this extent. Unfortunately my sister's house is filled with dog and cat hair, dander, and everything else. It's just this environment that is making them go exponentially worse. If I were going to be here longer term I could see a doctor for something stronger, but I'm only here a little over a week total.

Getting outside yesterday did help. We were out for a couple of hours, and towards the end I could feel the allergies starting to lessen.

I cannot imagine how anyone lives with this level of allergies on a regular basis.

 

Feeling better, Abby still has a runny nose and now a cough, hoping she isnt getting round two. STUPID CON CRUD!!!

Going to the doctor this afternoon to see if I have an ear infection............feeling like crap again...

Got back from the doctor, sinus infection (early) thats the reason for the ears and lovely wonderful Broncitis.

 

Today I go in for oral surgery to remove the tooth root that has apparently been stuck in my head causing problems for just over a year. The tooth I just had pulled came out fine, but may not have needed to come out at all.

Anyone have any ideas how to stop a bunion from hurting so much? I've got an appointment with my podiatrist, but it's 1 month from now. I've already been icing it, elevating it, massaging it, putting all kinds of creams on it. I even tried a heating pad. The damn thing is killing me here! I can barely walk.

 

Cannot stop coughing!!!! My head and lungs hurt.

To those I have been in contact with over the past 24-48 hours. I may have pink eye. How does an adult get it? Beats the hell out of me. Woke up this morning with swollen face and eyes swollen/glued shut. Wash surfaces. Sorry.
