man stinks...the body is amazing, but it is also so fragile.

 

I went to a doctors office that had an old west town inside of it. It was like a theme park! There was even a fake mine that you'd go inside and they had packman that you could play in there! Kids' dentists are the best!

My current dentist is pretty cool. I told him how much I hated dentists and so we just talked for a while. He told me that he hates to listen to the sound of people brushing their teeth, which is kinda funny for a dentist. His hygienist is terrified someone will jump her while she's vacuuming. But other than having weird employees it's nice cause I'll get to watch a movie while he does stuff. I'm impressed with him so far.

Jenny, try and get the root canal and the pulling done at the same time, like SC said. That way you only get your face frozen once.

 

I will try that, Sarah...and I hope you find some answers. I remember when I was sick, the worst part (strangely enough) was never getting a straight answer out of any of the specialists I saw. Keep your chin up.

 

I know exactly what you mean! I'd rather they just give me an answer than all this guessing they've been doing. At least this last guy gave me some valid reason as to why we're just guessing at this point. So we'll see. At this point I guess I just need to wait and see.

 

I feel a tension/cluster combo headache coming on....

 

UGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! woke up all stuffed up and i look horrible. well more horrible than usual. I am HOPING i can just stay home and rest and watch stuff on my new computer?

The hot tea with lemon and honey helped, but now I need another cup, and the microwave is WAAAY down the hall. Like 3 doors away. I think I'll just slump in my chair and complain. I'm the only one here today anyway.

*whinewhinewhine* can I have some cheese to go with my whine?

Not only has my cold progressed to a full on sinus infection, but I'm still coughing up pfleghm (usually by this stage I'm just congested and it hurts to move) and my throat is still raw and irritated. And to top it off, last night as I was existing on the couch, I realized that one eye had an 'eye boogie' in it and when I went to take it out, it was the width of my entire eye. by the time I went to bed, both eyes were filming up and irritated and when I woke up during the night to cough up my lungs, my right eye would be plastered shut with eye boogies. So today I have to hope and pray that the doctor's office is both open and able to get me in, otherwise I try my luck with urgi-care or the emergency room. At least I'm not coughing up blood, which would indicate that the pulminary embalisms were getting worse... of course now I need to go to lenscrafters or something and get my glasses prescription updated since the ones I'm wearing now are at least 6 years and several powers out of date.

 

i am sick too...i wish i had just taken today off, but not able to with this big huge meeting on monday. Maybe i will do a half day. still deciding.

I've been feeling ... strange... lately, I'll get random fevers and feel like my blood pressure spikes. I think all the medications I am taking are interacting with one another. So I'm cutting down on the amounts and I'm going to try going without my ADHD meds. Surprisingly I've gone without for the past few days and I'm just really tired, not flaky like I normally get.

 

I got into the doctor's yesterday, got antibiotics for both the eyes and the sinus infection, then drug Josh to the mall to get a new pair of glasses at lenscrafters. They are having a 20 or 25% off deal if you get the glasses and frames, so I got some really cute square framed ones that kind of glow blue when the light hits them. Of course after wandering around the mall for a while, sitting in the play place and realizing how awesome our kids are, and then wandering around walmart for an hour, I pretty much passed out on the couch when we came home. I'm only up this early since I'm waiting for the benadryl to kick in again and trying to decrease my snot levels to the point where I can lay down without it instantly filling everywhere it can. I think that is a lost cause however...

 

We are a house of sickies! Shane has been sick since Wednesday, just starting to feel better. Poor Abigail came down with same stuff, vomiting, diarrhea, oh yeah the fun stuff. She is feeling better today, but there is nothing like rocking your baby and getting vomit all over you as you try to hold it with your hand. New lesson, your hand can only hold so much vomit...

My poor baby!!!

 

hope you guys feel better soon. so what do you do with a fist full of puke?

Try wrapping or draping her in a towel or blanket, then when she starts to puke you can kind of gather it in that. Many times I've been puked on. MANY TIMES.

 

i woke up and my nose is all draining and i am coughing up stuff. sucks!

my house looks like a tornado all i want to do is sleep or sit here on my butt.

 

I took a nap at the same time as Mr. bug, but mine was broken up by coughing fits every so often. It's bad when you're so tired that you know if you just sit up and cough it out you'll feel better, but you can't make yourself get up...

Although afterwards I had enough energy to load the dishwasher and take a shower and I'm almost even hungry now

 

So sleepy... bad taste from antibiotics....

I want this tooth out NOW!

 

I think I need to make a list of all the medicines I'm taking so I don't forget any...

1 shot twice a day
1 antibiotic 2x a day
1 eye drop in each eye 4x a day
multivitamin 1x a day
calcium supliment 1x a day
fish oil pill 1x a day

seems like I'm taking more...

oh yeah, benadryl every 4 hours or robitussin or tylenol or sudafed. So far been sticking to the benadryl since I was hoping it would make me sleep better, but it just makes me zone out (more than usual )

I'm sure it's time for me to go take something, so guess I'll go ponder on dinner as well...

 

i have bronchitis..so i dug out the nebulizer to use yesterday, only to discover that the tubing was missing...called around couldn't find a place that had that on a sunday...so LUCKILY i found one..now just waiting to go pick it up...so dont' want to leave the house. BUT if it will help me breath then i am ok.

 

Lived with that most of my young life and it's no fun but once you get that, you stay in bed and get rest til you are functioning optimally. Don't make it worse by jumping the gun.

Hey, I was really sick and lost my voice but I seem to be getting better!!! Of course I threw my back out two days ago and I can't walk at the moment... but at least I'm not a snot factory.

 

Snot factories aren't that bad.

I'd take only snot over coughing until you almost throw up on your computer any day.

 

i got the kit!! now i am sitting here and in two minutes i will be shaking from a steroid being put directly into my lungs...oh boy!
