Time to spam the Southwest Region!

I've had it! WITH YOU ALL!!!!!

    Ok, not seriously.

BUT, I AM taking a break for a short while! Why? Darth Real Life.

The next three weeks will see an increase in my work schedule as we are preparing for and then attending a HUGE industrial tradeshow. Then about a week and half after that, the Tyrrell clan will be seeing the arrival of our newest baby! Boy or girl, we do not know. So, when the baby's born, I'll be spending time OFFLINE to attend to family things. You other parents know how that goes - little to no sleep. That'll be on top of trying to do as much as humanly possible in taking care of my 6 year old and 3 year old, doing some homeschooling activities, and taking care of the new mommy.

So, I expect to be back in full swing sometime mid to late September.

The Southwest Region is in the more than capable hands of Jedi_Knight_Birr. So if you've got any TFN article requests, header requests, etc, he's the man to go to.

Of course, I won't be completely gone. Just in a reduced capacity.

    LIVE LONG AND PROSPER!

I am proud to announce my wife and I are now the proud parents of a beautiful baby girl!!!!

Emma Juanita Tyrrell was born on Wednesday September 13th, 2006 at 8:08 AM. She weighed 8 lbs even and measured in at 19 1/2 in. long. This is slightly shorter than either of our boys, but heavier. As soon
as you see the pictures, you'll see where that baby fat went ... her cheeks!

She is a beautiful baby with a head full of hair and blue eyes (whether they stay is questionable, but we will enjoy them for now). She's a wonderful baby who loves having a different schedule from everyone else. Sleep in the day, awake at night. Wants to be held when everyone else is asleep. For the most part though, she's not a cryer and we enjoy her awake times to look around and take in the sites.

My wife's such an amazing woman. How she manages to do everything she does, I'll never know. But she is recovering quickly and very well and it probably won't be long before I have to start telling her to take it easy.

My two boys are so excited to have a new little baby in the family, even if it is a girl! There is a waiting line between the two boys on who can hold her; at this point they cannot get enough of her - talking to her, kissing her cheeks, helping change her, etc. Both boys are NOT fond of pink, but they're gonna learn to deal with it as EVERYONE is already spoiling this little girl - but they have promised to teach her all about Star Wars!

    And now, picture spam!

YEP! I'm back and ready to whip y'all back into shape!

Oh, wait, you guys don't need whipping into shape. You guys do well enough on your own. And thanks for JKB for single-handedly taking care of everything while I recuperated from ... life? LOL!

Speaking of crazy... got this off a posting fourm.

Alright guys. I rotated with my girl and im back home so i'll tell you guys what went down so far. Before i say anything else i want to say, this story is 100% TRUE. I dont need to lie for attention, and im not making up words just to start up conversation.

Ok, so i leave my house and get on the Highway to go to the Best Buy i went to to get my Xbox 360. When i get there, i see atleast 6 tents, and alot of people in chairs and standing around. Im already p*ssed because i obviously can see i wont be in the front of the line. I park as close as i can to the line, grab my chair and everything else and start waiting. I ask the 2 kids in front of me, how many people are in front of us. He said about 50. About an hour later they did a count of the line so far and i came up number 56. Some of these people were out there since Monday. I couldnt believe this **** man. Anyway me, the 2 kids, and this guy and his girl start playing Uno, and we start talking about Ps3 and other videogame topics to pass time. Everything is coo. A couple of guys were throwing a football around. I was surprised the cops didnt tell them to stop, but they werent around at the time.

As a couple hours pass, people start throwing out figures on how many Ps3's the store is getting. The guy who knew the manager and actually came out with the manager, said 40 guaranteed, maybe more. Now, that number seems very believeable being theres a shortage. I start calling my my friend, my brother, my girl, and yes even my mother to just look at places near their job, or in my brothers case, where he hangs out. The best scenario i found was a mall 25 minutes from where i was, with a Circuit City, a Target, and a BJ's (BJ's is a wholesale store). Coincidentally enough, this mall is the same mall where i didnt get a 360 at launch. My girl goes there after work and tells me theres 34 people at Circuit City, 72 people at Target, and she was number 8 on the BJ's line. 8!!!! I couldnt believe it. I hopped in my car and drove there.

As i get there i see the lines for all the stores. At Bj's the woman who started the line started handing out numbers so nobody would cut and everybody knew where we were. My girl was 8 and i was 9. She grabbed 9 for me so by the time i got there, i wouldnt be 15. We start to camp. As time passes, employees are acting stupid. Some girls are saying they arent getting Ps3's, some said they got 10, some said 14, some said 6. As far as im concerned its all BS until its official. We become friends with the people around us since its like a small community compared to the lines at the other stores. We also wasnt close to the others stores, we were at the other end of the mall. REMEMBER THIS, because this comes to play later in my story.

At around 10:30pm, i have 1 of the guys hold my spot and i drive my girl home and return. Everything is cool. We are talking, some of us layin down, somw standing up, yada yada. Time starts to pass and a coupel more people join the line. This 1 guy starts hanging around us. He asks wheres the list so he can sign up. We couldnt find it so he didnt sign. He kept asking all of us for a light so he can spark the rest of his blunt. Eventually he gets one from somewhere, and comes back to the line. One of the girls asks him to put it out because of the smell. He ignores her. He later walks up to a car and talks to somebody and then the car pulls off. This guy is sitting RIGHT NEXT TO ME. Me and the other guys i met are still talking games and cars, sports and you kno, guy stuff. This guy walks to the front of us, throws a plastic bag on the ground and says every1 listen up, throw all your **** in the bag. He pulls out a gun. I dont know what type of gun it was, im not familiar with guns, but it was pretty big and it was real and this guy was not joking. At this time theres 1 patrol car and it was all the way down at the other end of the mall at Target. We are at the opposite end of the mall and theres only about 10-12 of us. Some people threw him there w
