Taking a step back into a larger world

Hi everyone,

It's been years since I've entered and/or read any EV material so I am way behind. I've just been soo busy but now I may have some free time on my hands and I am ready to return to the larger world.

The EV material I've read thus far are:

Tales of the Jedi

Fredon Nadd Uprising

Dark Lords of the Sith

Sith War

Marvel Comic series

Splinter of the Mind's Eye

Dark Horse Comic's Classic Star Wars (1-21 The Goodwin Williamson series)

Shadows of the Empire (both Comics and Novel)

Heir to the Empire

Dark Force Rising

Final Command

Dark Empire I, II and Empire's End

The Jedi Acadamy trilogy by Kevin J Anderson

Darksaber

Union

and Vector Prime is where I stopped

I read many good things about the new Jedi Order series but haven't had the time to read the rest until now.

Should I read any other material before continue TNJO series or should I jump right in?

I'm also looking foreward to future discussion on the other novels and comics with other members here.

PS Why are some of the review threads locked in the review section ?

About your question of the threads locked in the Review Forum, I think every thread gets auto-locked after a certain period of time passes. If you have any questions, don't be shy to ask any of the mods in those particular forums. You can also ask any other questions you have in this thread.

I,Jedi , is that the novel about one of the characters from Rogue Sqadron becoming a Jedi?

Is this story important for the NJO series?

PS I forgot to mention that I also read the Han Solo trilogy by AC Crispin.

I, Jedi is about Corran Horn. Yes, he is a member of Rogue Squadron and he becomes a Jedi. I don't know if it's inportant to NJO; I just think it's a good story.
