Tales #24 - Silas

In Tales #24, in the story titled "Marked", Darth Maul fights a Force-using arena fighter named Silas.

I've seen his species somewhere before, but I can't remember where.

Where has his species shown up before? And more importantly, what species is he?

 

He looks like a Nim Drovian...

 

Drovian (sp?) from the novel Planet of Twilight, I believe.

They're also seen in the Essential Guide to Planets and Moons, and the Essential Guide to Alien Species.

 

But I thought that Drovians tentacles instead of arms w/hands.

 

Nope. They have arms (which kinda look like tentacles), and hands with three huge claws.

 

Thanks guys, I checked out the EGTAS and he is indeed a Drovian.
