    IC: Darth Insipid
    The Phantom/Inner Planets

The thrustship Aggressor had released the Phantom, the Sith crew of which was all buckled in the cockpit. Troopers were ready in the hold, prepping themselves, and Darth Sinn was, as ever, focused on the job at hand from the sensor display. He always preferred to be on sensors, because if he was pilot or a dirt-general, he would always have access to information second hand, and be forced to use a chain of command to run things. As sensor officer and leader, he was able to dictate the reactions of the Aggressors more neatly, more fluidly, as the situation arose. Darth Sinn quickly ran through pre-flight checklists, and was surprised that Darth Lilith had managed to rush ahead, reporting it was time to head down before he had finish perusing the screen. As he always did before a mission, Darth Sinn turned his mind to the Sith personnel he had at hand.

Darth Lilith was always a wonder to work with, and he had been considering grooming her to be his second in command, and give her access to his meetings with the Dark Masters. Focused on the job as pilot, she nonetheless commanded respect due to her keen intellect and skills. A lone darksider who had hunted down the Dominion and became a member, her history was her own, but in the trenches on Lehon she had spilled a fair amount of Dragon blood and proven her loyalty enough times.

Darth Mesiac was there, for lack of a better word, however he was not, as was sometimes evident, paying attention at this point. Sinn knew Mesiac was a third generation Sith, which had, in his experience, made for better agents of the darkness in the long run, but the Lethan Twi'lek also knew it led to hubris, if Wyyrlok III was any indication. And so he had to be hard on Mesiac, when they were away the Armada, to keep him on target, especially as today Mesiac had been given responsibility for the dozens of troopers on this mission.

"Proceed, Lady Mesiac." Sinn's tongue was a whipcrack, even as he absently checked his buckle, and checked the weapons systems were all up and ready. "Report on the readiness of your men, Mesiac." He kept his eyes on the displays at hand, but filled the Force with his displeasure. The system they were approaching was a simple one, with half a dozen different planets and a single one, third from the star, which had been identified by probe flashcams as possible of sustaining life in their initial run through the system. If it was capable, they had to investigate, and report back.

Sinn had a fourth Sith on-board, whom he had left to cover the more spectral of studies. Darth Spion was more of a mage than an imperialist, in Sinn's opinion, and he often assigned her to check the currents of the future through her means and methods before a mission. She was in her quarters, defended by two Stormtroopers, as in Sinn's opinion meditations often led to a lack of awareness of your surroundings. The Twi'lek brushed a brain tail aside as he glanced at the chrono. He was due to expect a report from her in a few moments, and he absently - because he was often thinking several things at once - wondered what she would have for him today.

    The Pit

Darth Derkomai was surprised to see Darth Strages return her initial blow with twice the strength, and barely twirled away from the ensnaring web and let it pass. It was immediately clear that Strages was her equal in a Force duel, and so she turned her retreat into an offensive, spinning towards Darth Bursyrkyr - who hit her with a Force drain! Derkomai felt her power drain, and she winced, disconnecting from the moment and automatically allowing the pain to fuel her fury at the fool and his betrayal of her, mid-flow.

Derkomai sent a Force wave at Bursyrkyr from her fingers, simultaneously projecting herself and striking him across the backs of his legs - it would be as if she had kicked him f

Darth Dreadwar, Deep Space, near asteroid belt orbiting Indix.

Across a star-spattered blanket of black flew a thousand asteroids and chunks of rock. Some of these were so small that from Nexus Station, a small space station orbiting the dirty, polluted world of Indix in the depths of the Unknown Regions, they appeared to be dust, swirling around the dark planet below, or being sucked like real dust into an BR44 vacuum cleaning unit, into an aberration in space, a storm of red energy that the few smugglers who passed anywhere near in small freighters without being shot down or drained of their life essence described as pertaining in appearance to a hyperspace wormhole. A void within a void.

And this void was Darth Dreadwar, Lord of the Sith and King of Indix.

Like a beacon to the mouth of the void was Nexus Station, its blinking lights dulled by the energies swirling chaotically around it. Although many sentients dwelled inside the station, many today were on its surface, protected by the vacuum by atmospheric containment fields. Those fields didn't stop the sound of an eerie, cosmic wind, something that was no stellar wind, but an unnatural consequence of being in such close proximity to the dark side nexus that was Lord Dreadwar. The men on the surface of Nexus were all clad in silver armor and black hooded robes, their eyes wreathed in red flame, and wielding ancient swords and crimson lightsabers as they fought amongst themselves. The tournament that was taking place served many purposes, including weeding out the weaker among the Core of Power assassins and warriors. Most importantly, however, Dreadwar would feed on the pain, the hate, the anger, the fear, and ultimately, the death, and the connections of life as they were severed. Dreadwar was a void that consumed. His pull was inexorable. He was a black hole in the Force that even now pulled the essences of a thousand warriors to their infinite doom in the center of ultimate chaos.

Darth Dreadwar's attention and will was not focused on the fight on Nexus Station, however. He was draining his pawns' essence without concentrating on them; it came instinctual to him. His focus was on the cold of space around him, the pinpricks of light that were the stars, stellar bodies of gas that were slowly dying. Darth Dreadwar seemed greater than these. He was immortal. He was a god.

He felt as if he could reach out and destroy some of those stars. He felt as if he was Lord of the Cosmos, his understanding of the ways of the universe greater than ever. He had reached the ultimate goal of a Sith.

Of course, power was the absolute, and Dreadwar would not cease until he was the Force itself, the universe itself. Something that may speed that along was making its way towards him; his scouts didn't report the fleet actually moving through space towards him, of course, but the Dominion of Darkness was making its way towards him in fate, he was sure. He hungered to taste the power they possessed, to seize the opportunity they had provided... and further the goal that even the Core of Power knew nothing of. He had already reached out to become one of the Dark Masters in the Dominion, and already he was sending agents to infiltrate the other factions of the Sith order.

The Pit... the Dragons... the Dark Masters... all were steadily falling into Dreadwar's control just like how the dozen bodies of slain dark side adepts, thrown out of the atmospheric containment field on Nexus, were being sucked into the void. The Aggressors would undoubtedly find Indix - and himself - soon enough, and then the full truth, the scope of their pitiful insignificance in the face of the ultimate terror, would be revealed.

Necro Sol'aar, Deimos, near the Dominion's fleet

The Deimos was an incredible feat of engineering, Sol'aar had decided. It had served the new agent of Darth Dreadwar exceedingly well over the past few years. It was a stealth ship that put other stealth ships to shame. Exiting and entering hyperspace... a bl/>

    Engineering Level

Rellius paced softly in the lab that existed in the engineering deck. The Lab is what he called it. The rest of the Dominion had more derogatory names for it: "The Cave," "The Dungeon," and "The Hole." But what none of them could deny was that the monstrosities Rellius created here were the best.

Right now he was staring at four computer screens, working on two tables and reading various datapads. This is what happens when you're both running a ship AND completing projects. Darth Insipid certainly had him overworked. Rellius laughed at the thought. Higher Learning was harder.

Insipid had made sure to divert the auxiliary bridge controls to him in engineering, so he distracted himself from building his Shadow Droids by looking at the Pit. Yes, the Pit. The most famous thing on this ship. Currently there was a fight between sith he didn't bother to identify to himself. Well, maybe he did. He recognized Darth Derkomai, but not the others. He watched them attack, parry, the occasional force move. It proved a good distraction from the real issue in his mind: The Aggressors. He had to be sure to check in on them when they arrived, and that was a hassle. See, Rellius hated things that occurred on a schedule. They made him attached to a datafile with timeslots on them.

Rellius stopped paying attention to the pit, made sure the ship was running smoothly, and got back to work on the Shadow Droids. He didn't care if anyone interrupted him; he could do math in a loud party if he had to.

    Darth Avarice
Deep aboard the Dark Renewal, prison cell 74

?I see...?Avarice replied the last word a subtle hiss. Anger began to swell in the pit of his stomach, quickly over coming the sensations and discomforts of hunger. Avarice however remained in control, he was always in control. ?So, I?ve been delegated down to science experiment hmm? I suppose I should feel offended after all I?ve done for the order. Oh well. At least you?re entertaining.?

?You know Vivis. I?ve always found the Shi?ido to be such an interesting species.? Avarice could feel him approaching. Despite seeing the apparition of him elsewhere all the same. Now, Avarice thought to himself, One hundred years of servitude to him and these are my rewards. Soon, not soon now, Lord Avarice will move for himself. The pawn would now take on the Chessmaster.

?You have such unique characteristics that you could use so well, yet you seem to let them go to waste.? The Sith reached out with the Force, a subtle, probing, extension of awareness. Expanding out into the cell and the hallway beyond. ?Take your species natural telepathic abilities. You could so easily use that ability in this line of work. Not on me of course I?m far beyond your abilities. But the younger, weaker Sith, and normals. You could dominate them so well.?

It was a sort of Ego Stroking, a diversionary tactic to make Vivis think about himself and his own abilities and less what his charge was up to. It worked as well as the Shi?ido?s eyes narrowed on Avarice, oblivious to his subtle groping in the Force. ?And then there?s the shape shifting abilities. Oh it goes well beyond the ability to impersonate loved ones, dear friends, and those long lost.?

?No, it?s more than that. You could be something I could not. A walking torture chamber. I know fully well the capabilities of your species to shift your forms around items, to carry them within yourselves. Poisons, knives, serums...? There, there it is. ?Even lightsabers.? Avarice?s fist clinched and for a brief moment Vivis? eyes widened as a millisecond of pain surged through his body.

And then came the sound, just for a second. The sound of meat burning on a stove top, and the accompanying smell. Within the blink of an eye the crimson blade sprouted like a flower of death from the crown of the Shi?ido?s head. His form went limp as gravity pushed him against the blade which Avarice kept aloft with the force. Severing the Shapechanger in twine from the inside out. ?But as I said, all for not. It was all going to waste.?

The two troopers who had escorted his would be interrogator paused for just a moment before reacting. In unison the two raised their blasters up and aimed at Avarice?s still prone form. ?I?m sorry I can?t let you do that,? The near human smiled as the air was filled with the sickening snap of wrists twisting up at an unnatural angle. The two troopers fought against the inevitable, as two quick, and quiet wumps from the blasters rang out, and the two slumped to the floor, smoke billowing out from under their helmets.

Slowly Avarice rose from the floor and casually dusted himself off

[OOC: Artemis is a girl, Sinre. :p]

    [IC: Artemis Stele]
    The Phantom, Inner Planets

Artemis was thrust from her reverie by the violent voice of the Sith, Sinn. He was, as ever, impatient and intrusive.

"Proceed, Lady Mesiac," he said. That was all Artemis needed to hear. Sinn was projecting the nature of his demand directly to her mind. He was displeased, but this did not concern Artemis more than the slightest amount. Sinn was always displeased. Artemis knew that he only did this to keep her focused. At times, this was appreciated.

"Scout troopers are prepared, Sinn. As are the storm troopers. We are waiting for your mark."

Artemis turned off her communications device. Sinn didn't need to be broadcasted her next words. They were for the troopers that she had been given command over. Artemis had requested specific soldiers, based on their experience in the field and with her. Because she always knew the soldiers personally, Artemis usually gave last minute commands to the squad leaders. She addressed them by their squad name, to avoid confusion.

"Red leader, in the case of hostiles, hang back and find cover, so you can provide support. Blue leader, stick with me when we get out there, no matter what happens. Gold, I want you to scout ahead, but for Almighty's sake, don't be reckless."

    IC: Darth Strages
    The Pit

It missed. Not by much, but it was still a miss. Darth Strages cringed at this minor failure, but immediately surged back into action. He started by pushing straight out with both of his palms, summoning force lighting into both. But he didn't stop there. No longer fueling lightning with his own power, he needed only to focus on control. He dropped into a bow stance as he begin circling his hands about himself as if fending off invisible blows. The lightning followed quickly behind his hands and grew with a sinister crackle as it ate the atmosphere around it.

Forty years Darth Strages had worked almost exclusively with with lightning, to the exclusion of all but one other power. Along the way he discovered that lightning didn't need to be powered by the user, only summoned. This discovery allowed him to focus on control, something the lightning itself seemed to detest. But after years of practice, he had mastered that control. That possibilities of what he could do with it now seemed only limited to his imagination, and he made it his goal to test that limit.

Fortunately his opponent had been distracted by the boy who had been thrown into the arena with them, but it didn't last long. She was on him again. First with a stab to his right, which would most likely end as a two part combo. But Darth Strages wasn't there for her to hit, he seemed to just disappear in a blur along the floor as he ducked out. A feat attributed to his only other force power, speed. His lightning however, was still there, lashing wildly but with intelligence. One strand shot toward the hilt of her lightsaber, while the other shot at her broadside, intent on wrapping itself in it's warm embrace. Strages danced five meters away, directing the lighting in it's deadly flight.

    Darth Lilith
    The Phantom/Inner Planets

Piloting always came natural for Lilith. She knew ever since she was a small child that she had an infinity for it. She knew just about everything when it came to ships. The mechanics, to computer systems to the entire layouts. The Phantom was a ship she exclusively claimed from a smuggler a while back. The YT-2400 light freighter was one of the best Corellian manufactured ships. She knew she found a gem in it and instantly added a few more modifications to enhance the already elite system that it had.

The Phantom was her baby and though attachments of any kind are frowned upon. This particular ship was something Lilith was quite proud of and would hate to part with. She hated the extra access of the Aggressors on the ship, but she had to carry on the act of a loyal member. This included having them aboard the ship. She made sure there was no evidence connecting her to Darth Mystique. She would never fail her master that way. Incompetence was not her style.

She was successful so far in gaining the confidence of Darth Sinn. Lilith's loyal act has been winning the Sith over. She needed a continued patience to gain further access within the Aggressors and Dark Masters, to be able to obtain gain information concerning them for her true master.

Shifting controls and pressing buttons The Phantomheaded toward the surface of the planet. In the background she could hear Darth Sinn telling Darth Mesiac to report in. The displeasure from Sinn was not hidden, for Lilith could feel it within the force as if it was a magnet clinging to her.

This reminded her once again about the intrusion of her ship. She knew all Sith who were accounted for with the exception of one, Darth Spion. There was something about her that Lilith did not like. With her toward the back of the ship, it made Lilith more uneasy not knowing what the Sith maybe up too.

    IC: Darth Ardeur

"If Ventris is to leave, for now I will require you to engage with the other two Dark Masters - Mystique and Sciarius. Mystique I am not sure we can trust, and Sciarius was a key Dragon formerly. They must not spend time together, especially considering they can form quite a bloc if need be. There are older members of the order who Mystique is likely to be getting back in touch with even now, and we don't have time for the instability of a coup. Lady Ardeur, I need you to keep tabs on Mystique until our next session, keep her away from Sciarius until we all meet as a five, probably to decide our response to the Aggressor report. I know that she is spending a great deal of her time overlooking the Pit, and I cannot conclude otherwise that she is building a power base."

Ardeur nodded while Insipid was speaking. She had anticipated that he would not use her covertly as she had been used before. Well, perhaps not as covertly as she wanted to be used. In dealing with her former master she would still have to be careful and possibly step into a roll that she had not been in for a long time. She continued to listen as Insipid spoke more.

"I will give you complete latitude in dealing with her. If you come to me tomorrow with Mystique's head on a platter, I won't question it. If she's an instability, remove her. If you should encounter Kye'El before I, either of you, please have him speak to me, or you can do so yourselves and update me later."

She bowed low and spoke softly. "As you say, my Lord." She managed without even a note of sarcasm, perhaps that skill had left her along with the force.

"I would be grateful if you could get started on this straight away, Lady Ardeur - I believe Mystique is in the Box above the Pit even now, though I have not kept track of Sciarius for fear of, obviously, offending the sensibilities of other One Sith who switched sides before the end on Lehon."

A curt nod to Insipid's retreating backside as he left the room was the only acknowledgment of this further command. She was, however, not going to go to the Pit to confront the two Masters. Insipid might be the dark lord, but Ardeur would do things her own way and take full advantage of his "complete latitude" command he issued in an earlier statement. Besides, the Pit was absolutely barbaric. Without a word Ardeur strode from the room and down the hall to her quarters.

    Ardeur's Quarters

    Woosh...

She smirked. Ardeur never got tired of the sound of her door opening. It was a silly sound to become attached to, but in a sense it reminded her of her lightsaber activating and she definitely hadn't been able to activate the lightsaber much lately. She quickly stripped off her black jumpsuit and then dropped to the floor, her lightsaber fell and landed only inches from her fingertips. Even here, on a Sith ship, she did not feel safe enough to have it far from her side.

    Up.

    Down.

    Up.

    Down.

The rhythm of Ardeur's body as she did pushups on the cool floor was as steady as a heartbeat. With each down her nose came centimeters from the floor and with each up her hands were practically pushed off the floor. The force was powerful, but with her connection to it becoming somewhat severed, Ardeur knew she must spend more time making sure she was physically fit.

After several hundred pushups, she flipped over and lay on her back to do some situps. She completed her exercises with stretching, making sure she was still as flexible as ever. The entire routine took an hour. She checked her chrono. Still probably too soon to attempt contact with the two Masters so she stepped into her refresher to wash away the sweat.

    Tantric Vos
    Ready Room

Tantric felt at ease walking with Aden. Tantric didn't have any reason of hiding his feelings or his thoughts from him. It had been this way only for a few months, or a year, at most, but Tantric was growing more comfortable. Complacent, he realized. This could be a ploy that Aden had devised, but Tantric didn't really care. If he died, Tantric wouldn't know the difference. He would simply cease to be. That didn't seem like a terrible outcome.

Tantric ignored the crew as they passed them, though Aden reacted differently to each. He had grown very conscious of the morale of his men, in these recent months. Tantric had noted this change in personality.

When the two men entered the lift, Tantric fixated his gaze on Aden. This was where he would reveal his concerns, though Tantric had an idea what they were.

"You consider yourself ready to lead a colony group so soon after Lehon, Tantric? I am concerned for you, as an old comrade. You have been... quiet, lately."

Tantric contemplated the best answer, mentally going through a list of possibilities, as he stared at the enigmatic figure of Aden Kya. He began slow, as he often did.

"I appreciate your concern, Aden. I sincerely do. And, you are right, I have been rather quiet. But, the silence has proved to be an excellent place to think. I cannot bear to see the Sith that the Pit is leaving behind. They are strong, yes, but bred in captivity only for combat. They are survivors, but only from the enemy that is visible. This colony is a chance to alter their training. To focus on philosophy, subterfuge and survival of the mind. I can teach my students what it meant to be a Sith, before all of the nonsense. I can reteach what my mother taught me."

Tantric stopped and put his arm on Aden's shoulder. He smiled.

    "What you have taught me."

    Darth Spion, The Phantom/Inner Planets

With the faint hum of engines in the dark cold void of space, Isa sat meditating in the rear quarters of the ship. The coldness of space made her bones ache. Though the pain was a dull reminder of her being alive as she leeched a small bit of energy from her own pain. Her eyes appeared glazed over as she rocked slightly from side to side. Deep in meditation Isa reached out with the force. The preparedness but uneasiness of the troopers that had been brought along creeped into her mind. The flow and energy of the ship piloted by a force user of some considerable skill was present. The focus of one preparing for battle, and another user mixed among the troopers. Isa knew very little about them all, but she focused on their energies, no doubt the other Sith would feel the push from her as they were traveling.

Isa's mind came to a halt, focused as she drove her mind deeper into meditation. The ship and its inhabitants all but disappeared becoming faint echos. Isa's slight rocking motion came to a halt as distant energies rushed into her mind at speed, visions of a system and it surroundings came into focus. Isa did not know the name of the system but she clearly recognized it from earlier. Visions blurred... and came into focus as they became more detailed and focused on different levels. The images of a swirling system and flickers of light gave way to clouds and terrain viewed upon as a soaring Drexl would. The images gave way to energies and then feelings that coursed through her body, finally life. Thousands of indigenous and settled life concentrated into their own territories. Surprisingly a bare planet considering its size for now its resources and assets escaped the Sith party. The technology level of the planets inhabitants escaped Isa, though their energies showed brightly in her mind.

Isa did not know how long they had been out of hyperspace and what had seemed like minutes in her mind had been hours in transit as she now felt the ship descend into atmosphere she knew from the sudden warmth as they left the coldness of space. The energy of the planet was now stronger as the presence of the system was abrupt and now in their face. Her eyes opened as she reached her arms out drawing in a long deep breath as she slid to her knees and began to rise to her feet. She pressed her hand against the cold durasteel floor bracing herself as she stood up. Her staff rose up into her hand as she made her way towards the main hold where the troopers and Darth Mesiac awaited the ships landing. Darth Spion reached forward grasping a cargo net in the hold bracing herself for the landing to come.

    Darth Bursyrkyr

    The Pit

    Set The World On Fire

This match was over. At least it was for Derkomai, who was a fool enough to allow herself to fall victim to Bursyrkyr's Force Drain. Doing so, allowed him the energy necessary to unleash his most powerful attack.

While she recovered, Bursyrkyr charged up. When she unleashed her attack, he unleashed his. His attack was a devastating attack capable of vaporizing anyone who got within the blast radius, and push asunder anyone lucky enough to escape direct contact.

This, was Force Destruction, and the primary reason why you never let Darth Bursyrkyr Drain your energy. The consequences, most often were fatal. Today he would have victory. Today would be the day he proved himself to the masses, with the blood of his enemies.

    IC: Darth Derkomai
    The Pit

The crowd were roaring with appreciation, apprentices, acolytes, off-duty officers, soldiers and pilots; the spectacle was astonishing. Darth Derkomai, for her part, was focused on surviving this. Her initial efforts to injure the boy, Bursyrkyr were seemingly ineffective, as he took the power he had siphoned from her and charged something clearly destructive up. Strages was whipping lightning around himself, and then looping it around him as a cage of energy.

Her blows fell upon thin air, not anticipating this act nor the energy becoming alive; her lightsaber was shredded by a stray bolt, and then Derkomai only had a moment to flip away from the cage, as it sought to ensnare her; with no weapon, retreat was her only option. Drawing the Force around her to the best of her ability, fuelling it with years of betrayals and war and destruction and loss, as only a true Dark Lady could, and she flung out her hands at the lightning, threw her own at it as a full-blown stream, intending to blow apart the loose strands and power through, and then pivoted, anticipating that Bursyrkyr would release some kind of wave-based attack as soon as she stimulated him.

Her bolts emerged from her hands, were released, and she immediately pulled the Force close to her as a shield; a moment before the Force Destruction exploded outwards ? it was far beyond her shields, and Bursyrkyr's power, added to her own, sent her flying.

The crowds released a gasp of shock and awe, as the entire arena seemed to be buffeted by the wave of energy. Derkomai?s head slammed into the wall ? she lost track of Strages in the maelstrom of energy which shot out at waist level ? and she lost consciousness. Now came the difficult bit.

With Derkomai defeated, the right to decide the fate of the failure was passed to the Masters in the Box, far above ? Darth?s Mystique and Sciarius. Darth Sciarus would be entitled to decide the fate of Darth Derkomai, and then Darth Bursyrkyr would then be entitled to decide whether to spurn the Dark Master, whom was a former One Sith member, and then of course Darth Mystique, a Dark Master with a very bad history with the current Dark Lord, might have an opinion as well ? it was not always given which Dark Master Bursyrkyr could choose to ignore or obey?

And of course, Strages? fate was unknown to Derkomai?s unconsciousness, and so he could win points in the same manner? the Pit taught war and combat, true enough, but it was in this politicking that a Sith was born?

The crowd, for it?s part, roared for the blood of Derkomai, which was no surprise, considering she had betrayed almost all of the crewers on this former One Sith warship? and through it all [/b]Sol'aar the Hell Hound[/b] watched it all, and reported it to his great Master?

    The Phantom, Inner Planet

Darth Mesiac politely ignored Darth Sinn, as she always did, but Sinn paid it no heed as he felt the reassuring hand of Darth Spion upon his mind, showing that the mage was deep in meditation, scouting the future out. Sinn nodded, as Darth Lilith guided the ship forward, some slight tension edging around her as was the norm ? he always assumed it was to do with that moment between decanting and the knowledge hitting them. Spion would have warned them of any threat on the immediate horizon as it was, but she always, as if ritual, tensed beforehand.

Sinn nodded as he heard Mesiac assigned missions to the soldiers as they advanced in-system. "Scout troopers are prepared, Sinn. As are the storm troopers. We are waiting for your mark."

Sinn clicked a confirmation as his mind watched the system fill his screens. Nothing complex, but from this distance the target world was obscured by sensors by the furthest out moon ? one of six, interestingly, which had created a rather narrow island of stability which the planets sole continent had survived between

    Darth Sicarius
    The Pit

The Anzati Sith Master sat on the edge of his seat high above the Pit as he watched the final moments of the duel, nearly salivating at the thought of feeding upon the now unconscious mind of Derkomai. Long had he kept his eye upon that one, and now the meal would be lost to him.

"What a waste." He exclaimed in frustration, though the only one to hear him would be Darth Mystique. If the Anzati could not draw out her soup and taste of it's power, he did not care what her fate was to be. His eyes locked onto the motionless form of the fallen Sith for a few moments before finally looking to those who bested her in the Pit, the hunger in Darth Sicarius' eyes obvious, as was the anger at their success in stealing from him a long savored meal.

The ragged clad Sith spat into the ground below his balcony seat, and waving a hand in dismissal expressed his thoughts. What they did to the once powerful woman no longer mattered to him. Her fate was in the hands of Mystique now. With a final sneer from behind the unkept greesy hair that hung over his face, Darth Sicarius sat back into his chair and folded his arms across his chest and waited for what was to come.

    Darth Mystique
    The Box/The Dark Renewal

The conversation between Sicarius and Mystique paused, when a loud and obnoxious roar from the crowd was heard. She knew that the match had ended, a victor and a failure were ready to weep their consequences. She looked down in disgust as the pitiful form of Derkomai who lay unconsious on the ground of The Pit. Darth Bursyrkyr was indeed the victor of this match. This was obvious.

The fate of the loser was now in her hands. She could either order Bursyrkyr to finish the pathetic Sith off or give leniency to her. Mystique was not one to have mercy. The word did not exist in her mind.

The Dark Lady stood up for all to see and looked down at Derkomai to give judgement. "Sith shall be strong, there is no room for the weak. Sith must overcome adversity that comes their way. Because there will always be something in a Sith's path. A Sith must use their anger to push forward toward their goal. If you can not endure the challenges that lies before you, then you can never be considered a true Sith."

She paused for a moment before continuing her judgement.

"Therefore Derkomai, if you are a Sith then prove it to me. GET UP!!" She demanded to the fallen Sith.

"If you do not get up, then I order Bursyrkyr to finish you off."

Mystique knew that if Derkomai could bounce bck from such a defeat that the Sith could use it as a pedastal to get stronger. Sometimes you have to get knocked down a few times before tapping in to their true potential. Now it was all up to Derkomai.

    Darth Lilith
    The Phantom/Inner Planets

Lilith guided the shi forward. Everything was running smoothly as she continued to check the control panel. Her ship was her baby and though she hated being the air taxi for missions. Lilith was determined to play the part of loyal Sith for her true master. Looking out the starboard window she could see the planet getting closer and closer. She knew that they needed to go in discreetly, but before she was about to douse the lights a text mesage over her screen.

It was from Sinn of course. SCREENS DARK. TAKE US IN SLOW, USE THE MOONS AS SHIELDS FOR NOW. CAREFUL OF TIDAL FORCES. SINN OUT.

Lilith read the text which was quite unecessary for Lilith. She was about to do this before the text came. She obliged Sinn anyway just to placate the sith. She switched the lights out and allowed the moon to be the shield for The Phantom.

Now they were heading down slowly, and incognito sort to speak. The ship was now on course and in atmosphere. A place to land was the next course of action.

IC: The Hound of Dreadwar, overviewing The Pit

Sometimes Tuk'ata were compared to an oftseen animal that roamed Core planets. These animals were called hyinas, and they were scavengers with a tendency for mischief. The distinctive and annoying noises hyinas made, usually during mating season, led them to be called laughing hyinas.

Tuk'ata made a similar noise when they beheld a dark acolyte known as Derkomai, undeserving of the sacred Darth title it had stolen, fall unconscious to the ground like a pitiful slave... or at least, the Hound of Dreadwar did.

The hell hound's beastly laughter, if it could be called such, faded away only slowly as Mystique uttered her pronouncements. The threats were amusing, they were just so... it was if the Dominion Sith had picked up some lines from an ancient Sith manuscript that instructed one how to taunt and intimidate opponents.

The Hound of Dreadwar was no scholar - after all, it was an animal, with enhanced intelligence, true, but still an animal - yet funnily enough it could swear it distinctly remembered a manuscript exactly like that, written by some insane Sith Lord during the Curse of Qalydon. Where had it seen it? Yes, it remembered... Thannis Phayder, one of Dreadwar's other playthings, or rather, chief plaything, had been reading it once... and if it remembered rightly Phayder had shouted at the Hound "Bow before my unlimited power, dog, or leave!" shortly thereafter. Perhaps there had been a connection...

This thought brought on another round of obnoxious laughter, only interrupted by Darth Sicarius' quiet "What a waste," which only the incredible hearing of an oversized Tuk'ata could pick up.

The Hound was sure it was more hungry than the Anzati. Bloodlust was always forefront in it's primitive mind, and the beast longed to jump into that arena and tear that worthless piece of meat to shreds.

However, the time for that was later. The Hound touched that dark, primal part of it, that was even darker and more primal than it's own animal heart. This part of it's mind was not it's own mind, but the essence of another, it's great Master.

The link was opened; what the Hound had just witnessed in the Pit was transmitted far away, through the channels of the Force, to the great nexus of swirling energy that lurked in dead space above Indix.

What actually happened to Derkomai was irrelevant. The Sith had been defeated, and whether the worthless thing lived or died did not change the fact Derkomai was clearly the weakest among the warriors fighting below. The power of the Sith combatants had been judged and compared, and that was the primary reason the Hound was here.

The Hound slowly trotted away from the solitary place it had been observing the fight from, coming to Darth Mystique's side. It briefly snarled up at her, it's red eyes glittering, but no amount of bloodlust and instinct would cause it to disobey it's Master and attack a Sith of the Dominion.

However, a brief wave of thought from Darth Dreadwar had returned along the link their two minds shared, that had given an instruction to the Hound... to help speed along the process of the Pit, in an effort to destroy the weak in this Sith Order. The Hound hissed in the language of the ancient Sith - the only tongue the Sithspawn could utter - to Darth Mystique.

Derkomai is not worthy of life. Finish him off, Sith Lady, and allow me to feed off the carrion.

    IC: Aden Kya
    Turbolift, heading down

Darth Insipid was no more. Now, he was Aden Kya, father to Tantric Vos, and analysing his son with the same gaze that he would any of his apprentices. That wasn?t true, really. Aden was caught between the fact that he was not the true Aden Kya, yet simultaneously acknowledging that he was more like Aden Kya than the real Insipid had been? and so, he listened attentively, because he found he cared about this man?s opinion.

He smiled, and Aden found he was returning it to the younger man.

    "What you have taught me."

Aden turned away, slightly, if only to avoid the blush cresting his cheeks. Part embarrassment, part pride, but he had no doubt Tantric would read it, in this den of mad men and women that seemed to be half the Dominion at any one time. In response, Aden simply grabbed his sons head and mussed the hair, affectionately. ?It is unbecoming for the Dark Lord to be embarrassed by your praise. You won?t get anything extra in my will.?

Aden pulled back, serious for a moment. ?Taking over a colony world is going to be a large undertaking, my friend. We cannot risk the entire armada being found in one place. You know this. The Imperium is chasing us to the ends of the galaxy? I will not be able to help you, should anything happen.? He didn?t need to say anything more. He knew that Tantric understood the gravity of events. ?You will need to draw up a list of our comrades that you are willing to have join you. Many will volunteer anyway, and you will have final say on who can come. I will support you.?

With that done, Insipid bid Tantric goodbye at the Engineering Deck and released him to speak to Darth Rellius, though he doubted Tantric would head straight to him. Rellius, for his part, had his own concerns. Insipid, on the other hand, could detect a growing malice in the depths of the prison area. He recognised it as Darth Avarice. Darth Insipid, not quite Aden Kya, not quite Sith Lord, took his lightsaber off his belt, shifted his robes, and gathered the Force around him. He was not responsible for what had happened here, but he knew enough about Darth Avarice that he would escape and try anything. It would just take a simple prod.

He had his various other weapons to hand, but nothing truly astonishing. He drew the power of this mortal body, the potential of Darth Insipid, to his hands. Aden Kya was ready. He scanned the tube, picked out what he could rip out and what he could not, without permanently damaging the ship, and he felt something that was strangely comforting ? a feeling Aden Kya used to feel, but Darth Insipid never admitted to.

    Fear.

Aden Kya closed his eyes, unravelled his innumerable Force defences, and was as open as he had been his entire life. He clutched at the straws of different powers, of new directions, of a reborn truth.

He was no longer Darth Insipid.

    He was Darth Malkuth.

The doors opened and Malkuth strode forward.

    Engineering Level

The ship was running smoothly, with the cameras to Dark Deck ? the prison deck ? atypically dimmed at the Dark Lord?s command. Darth Rellius had several minds kept in suspended animation, a couple pilots and a few that were of late Sith. Nobody had actually tried to place a Sith mind in Shadow Droids, and the Book of Anger did specifically point out that this was particularly dangerous and a Shadow

Character Traits: He is a motivated person, very stubborn, submissive, enthusiastic, strong, aggressive, intelligent.

Likes/Dislikes: Likes; The thrill of battle, being in control, having a purpose. Dislikes; Being alone, being helpless, not having a purpose.

Biography: Zurron has been an orphan since before he can remember. When he was a young child his parents had been murdered, and he was kidnapped. The Kidnappers were slave masters who were looking for young children to train as Gladiators. Being a Zabrak he was a good specimen for the ring. He was given to a Zabrak trainer by the name of Lokz. It was he who gave Zurron his name. Lokz was a rough trainer, but he was kind. Lokz was the closest thing Zurron had to a family. It was from him that Zurron learned how to fight. He was taught different martial arts. But of them all Lokz focused on teaching him the Iridonian martial art. He believed it would give him an edge against most other races who would not be familiar with it.

When Zurrons horns came in Lokz began preparing the rite of passage for his student. By the time Zurron was 13 his horns had fully grown, and it was time for the rite of passage to begin. Lokz helped Zurron to apply his tattoos in a pattern that depicted the type of life Zurron had been through, and the strength he had received because of it. As part of the rite of passage he had been given his first match as a Gladiator. He was put against a Duro who was missing his left eye, and had a scar that crossed his left eye down to his right cheek. In the end Zurron won. His rite of passage was over, and he had passed.

From then on he fought in many different battles. He won every death match, and most normal matches. His entire life was devoted to the fight. His training came first for everything. His skill astonished his master, and teacher. His success had to do with the fact that he was force sensitive, though he didn't know it at the time. Lokz suspected, but he was unsure. Within the next few years he, Lokz had been sold to different masters. When he turned 16 he had been put in his first tournament. He had made it all the way to the final round, and won. Believing he cheated a rival lord sent thugs after him intending to kill him. He and Lokz fought off the thugs, but in the process Lokz was killed.

When Zurron informed his master what happened his master went into a rage. He attacked the other master which escalated into a full spread battle. Somewhere in the battle Zurrons master died as well. With both master and teacher dead Zurron went into a rage. He unknowingly tapped into the dark side within him. With the dark side he murdered the slave master who was responsible for the death of his teacher, and friend. Now alone with no purpose Zurron sat in the corner of the blood stained arena and waited to die.

Unknown to him a dark figure sat in the balcony watching him the whole time. Seeing the young zabrak on the verge of death the dark figure leaped to the arena below and confronted the dying Zurron. The dark figure introduced himself as Torturous. He told him that he was a Sith. Torturous told Zurron about how he saw him use the dark side, and offered to train him. With nothing left to him but death Zurron accepted.

Torturous taught the young man how to use the basics of the force, and how to control it. He taught him how to make poisons, and how to torture informat

    IC: The Imperium Armada
    The Unknown Regions

As the remnants of the Dominion of Darkness fled deeper into the Unknown Regions, the forward elements of the Sith Imperium, those forces that the Acolytes of Darkness commanded, gathered, following the breadcrumbs of Cronau radiation emitted from the hyperdrives from the fleeing Dominion.

Those forward elements were the two Chiss-class Star Destroyers, the Tempest and Valient, supported by the elderly but upgraded Gladiator-class Star Destroyer known only as Scourge, while a retrofitted Pellaeon-class Star Destroyer, Dark Child rounded out the task force. Four powerful Destroyers, each more than enough to crush the Dominion.

Darth Helinith acted as the commander of the task force from the largest and most modern warship, while the minion Torturous was her second, from the smallest warship. The Sith commanders, including Vesca and Tesca, twin Yevethan darksiders, had been assigned to the Acolytes, as had other Sith, including Darth Ventis, whom was attached to Darth Helinith as a personal aide. The small and shrivelled human was a former Sorcerer of Rhand, and never left Helinith?s side, at Imperator Insipid?s personal request.

The five of them were meeting via hologram on the Dark Child, which had just followed a wave of hyperspace particles to another empty solar system. Only two of them were present in person, Helinith and Ventis. Vesca was staring at Helinith. ?Another dead end, Lady Helinith? another failure that the Imperator will be quite unhappy about.? Insipid had been treating Helinith differently since the Battle of Lehon, where she had been sent as a spy. In the subsequent confusion, the Dominion had escaped off-world and stole both the supposedly crippled Destroyer in orbit and several smaller ships from the Imperium armada. The failure there had been a smear on Helinith?s otherwise perfect record since the conquest of the Kias Domain.

?Do you have a better plan for hunting down the Dominion?? said Tesca, unsheathing his wrist blades in a clearly challenging statement. ?Chasing breadcrumbs is simply going to result in us being lured into a trap.?

Aboard the Scourge, the aide to Torturous was a Falleen named Grimer, a Force user who had used his pheromones to nudge himself up the command chain far too quickly. The Falleen was not being transmitted by the holo-projector in the ready room, his lightsabers dangling from his belt and jangling as he paced. Several of those hilts did not belong to him, the weapons of his victims, several Sith and even a few rogue Jedi killed. Grimer clicked his fingers as he thought, before checking a datapad. He nodded, and placed the datapad on Torturous? desk, sliding it over so Torturous could see it.

MY LORD, WHY NOT SUGGEST THAT THE SCOURGE GO AHEAD ON OUR OWN SO WE CAN CLAIM THE GLORY FOR OURSELVES? I HAVE A LEAD THAT THE ENEMY SEEMS TO NOT HAVE ACCOUNTED FOR.

Plots and pitfalls, something that the Sith seemed to have to face everyday. And the enemy wasn?t even evident!

The moment when Darth Insipid left the One Sith and infiltrated the Dominion of Darkness ostensibly on the behalf of Darth Krayt, the moment when Darth Insipid stole the Sith Holocrons of Darth Krayt himself and gathered the knowledge of thirty thousand years into one room, the moment when Darth Insipid emerged from hiding and decimated the Dominion of Darkness and exposed the One Sith to the Twilight Templars, the moment when he allied with the Maleficarum and directed them to drive the Acolytes of Darkness off of Ziost into the Unknown Regions, the moment when he copied himself and seized control of both the Acolytes and Dominion, the moment when he wove the treaties of the Empire of the Hand and the dark prophecy

    Darth Bursyrkyr

    The Pit

    Live for the Kill
So it worked. Well, sort of; the attack was actually supposed to vaporize her, leaving no trace of her existence, instead of just leave her unconscious. Bursurkyr would have to make her death a little bit more messy than intended.

Still grinning, no less, as Bursurkyr knew his chance of glory was here, as made evident by the roar of the crowd, moved in for the kill. Not just to please the crowd, no less, but to please himself. Bursurkyr was thirsty today, and the only thing that would quench his thrist, was the blood of his enemy.

Pulling his lightsaber to his hand from the sheath inside his right sleeve, he thumbed the ignition switch. With the ever so evident "snap-hiss", the crimson blade came to life. Then, leaving no time for the most likely impossible event of Derkomai getting up, or for Strages to steal his kill, he raced over towards Derkomai, accelerated in the force. Appearing as a mere blur, he then ended his short journey with a swipe of his blade, aimed to decapitate Derkomai.

    Darth Strages
    The Pit

Rage boiled within Strages. Why they would give his kill to this pubescent whelp was beyond him, and he wasn't about to honor their choice. He had worked for years under this unforgiving witch, it was his right to kill her. Even if it cost him his life.
The Whelp acted, speeding off at what would seem a blur to any eyes but his. Speed was his mistress, fully and completely his. This whelp would never see what hit him, as his foolhardy rush had put Strages in his blind spot. Energy flowed through Strages like hurricane. Vicious and deadly, yet calm and cool at it's center. The Storm launched from Strages' body with a sinister crackle, bolts of lightning cascading forth in all directions, though clearly moving towards the spot where Derkomai lay. The lightning drew in the light of the arena with a sharp hiss, causing an almost serene darkness to fall on the area. At the middle of that darkness lay nothing. Strages had cut the ties of the storm and run, leaving it to run it's course on it's own power. It would last for several minutes, though residual energy would be left for years. Strages left every shred of power he contained in the storm, and then vanished as if into thin air. In actuality though, he had escaped the arena with a burst of speed, and was now convulsing on the staging room floor. The over-extension of his power was now killing him. He would most likely die even if someone found him.

Strages did no know when he had decided to die, but he knew that it had always been his destiny to kill Derkomai, no matter the cost.

    Age: 15
    Species: Human
    Homeworld: Adumar

Personality: Typical teenager. Sulks around, talks back, mostly seen as very sullen
Personal effects: Carved stone worn on a leather string around neck at all times
    Weapons: lightsaber
    Vessel: None

    Biography:
Micah grew up working in the mines on Adumar. He lived mostly underground with the other orphans after his parents died in a mining accident. He spent his late child years and early teen years working almost nonstop in order to survive the rough life on Adumar yet somehow never tiring as the other children did. He dreamed of one day being able to travel to the stars that he only saw briefly on the holonet before his parents died.
One night when he was fourteen this amazing lady visited him in his dreams and helped him develop a plan to escape from his pitiful life. She met him just outside the city of Cartaan. The most beautiful thing he had ever seen. The beauty was not in her looks though, it was in her power. Power of the dark side. Darth Ardeur had found herself an apprentice.

The crowd, mainly off-duty techs, civilians and so forth, applauded. Darth Derkomai was universally hated by both the Dragons and the Dominion. For her to die would be scintillating, and now cigarettes, alcohol and narcotics were wagered to decide who would decide the death blow. Sinestr, a low-tier Peon in the Order, his Force sensitivity almost mute, wagered his last bottle of vintage lomin'ale for a vial of deathstick juice, betting heavily on the lower ranked Sith, with a Lieutenant named Suca, despite the advice of Micah, a lowly apprentice that Sinestr had struck a friendship up with since his arrival on the ship a few weeks prior.

And Darth Bursyrkyr acted first, decapitating Derkomai with a slash. Sinestr crowed, and snatched the deathsticks with a grin, and then Darth Strages exploded. Literally. An explosion of energy, a Force storm, one of those secrets that it was believed that no Sith alive apart from Lord Insipid itself knew... and the storm burst out with lightning and destruction, rocking the entire arena, the entire ship. The crowd dispersed, running for the exits, and Sinestr paused to wonder about the Strages' fate, choosing to ignore the Dark Masters... and then Sinestr himself turned to rush off.

The energy wreaked havoc with the arenas gravity, and Strages vanished, ripped apart by the storm? Of course, he was lying behind stage, exposed. Powerful, too. The Hound of Dreadwar was still at large, and now he had two opportunities; Malkuth and Avarice, or little Strages. Strages for his part, was dying. Energy abuse, blood vessels bursting around his eyes, his spine carrying tiny shocks around his body, without trying, Strages was surrounded by lightning, energy which had taken a major exertion to normally emerge from him simply playing across his skin with little much of a thought. He had evolved... perhaps. Or perhaps not.

    Something... new?

    Old?

    Ancient?

The Dark Masters had been buffeted by the violence, and now they had a rebel without a cause within the ranks of the Sith; and it was the new leader of the Dragons... there would be... consequences, from this, methinks.
