Tales of the Jedi TPB

1) Does anyone here know why in the beginning of her story Nomi Sunrider is suffering from female patterned baldness? Are you as unsettled by this as I am?

2) Should I track down Te Freedon Nadd Uprising before I read Dark Lords of the Sith or can I jump right in without missing much?

 

I know the series is pretty old but no one has anything to say about this?

 

Sorry, I posted here yesterday, but it must not have shown up. Anyway, I feel that it isn't essential to read TFNU first. I do reccomend picking it up sometime though, just to complete the story arc and not feel like you've missed anything. I got my comic book store to order the TPB for me. It only cost like $6 too. Score.

Is anyone else bugged by Nomi's hair though.

 

Funny thing is, it seemed to have grown back to "normal" (whatever that is in the GFFA) by the time Redemption rolls around.

Her daughter never seems to have that problem though. Maybe female pattern baldness skips a generation as well.
