Tampa, FL Tampa BAY FanForce?

Any thoughts on changing the name to Tampa BAY? Since most of the people in the Tampa Bay area don't live in Tampa (like myself), it may be a good idea.

I don't know, that may make people think (even more so) that Tampa Bay is a city. What's in a name? People in Clearwater/St. Pete etc. know where the closest fan force chapter is.

Yeah, but we St. Petersburgians hate being lumped into Tampa, as if we're a suburb! Tampa is the 3rd largest city in the state, and St. Pete is the 4th largest city (population wise) in the state (yes - bigger than Orlando by 33%!!!). It's just all of our suburbs happen to be occupied by fish at the present time and the forseeable future.

The name is just more inclusive and implies a larger area.

We are the closest Fan Force Chaper and we are in Clearwater.

I can handle forum name changes, but you're own your own with the tuna salad.

As Skaught pointed out, we have indeed changed the forum name to Tampa Bay, per vswader's request.

 

LOL they changed it. Thank you! now we are Tampa bay.

 

I think this will serve the area folks that are interested better. COUNTDOWN,!! to AOTC and Celebration II.
