I liked the book very much. The transition of Leia was very interesting. At the start she rejected the ideal of children because of her fear that they would turn out to be Vader.

During the revelations she had about Anakin's early years she discovered that he wasn't the spawn of Satan that she belived him to be. She discovered a certain set of circumstances that lead to the eventual downfall of what started out as a decent kid.

Leia seemed to realize that those circumstances and the power of the dark side had more to do with his downfall than the genes in her blood. Anyway just curious to see what anyone else thought.

 

I liked the book as well. I'm just upset that the book didn't included an artist's rendering of Leia in her Twi'lek get-up.

I enjoyed Tatooine's Ghost very much as it did fill in the backstory of why Leia changed her mind both about having kids and about her father.

I loved TG. I'm still trying to get my FF to read it for our bookclub, but they want to wait for paperback
