MN Tatooine, the new CCG expansion

Is anybody as excited about the new CCG expansion as I am. It is released next Wednesday, and I can't *wait* to buy some. I think it's so cool that this expansion will have both the TPM and the CT in it. The fact that are some Lando cards in it doesn't hurt either. Han and Leia are in it too.

I will most likely bring some of these cards to our meeting on the 29th.

I am also very excited about Tatooine expansion, but you have some of your facts wrong.

Its a 90 card set, 2/3 of which will introduce TPM to SWCCG.

I doubt there will be new character cards of Leia, Han or Lando. Although pics and quotes from them are a good bet.

Most importantly, the release date isn't until May. Its Decipher's new SW card game, Jedi Knights, that releases April 25.

I'm still really excited about the Tatooine expansion!

No, I haven't heard about a Lando *character* card, but I have seen the scans, and two are my fall into *my* Lando card catergory. One is Keeping the Empire Out Forever and the other is I'm sorry. Neither shows him, but they are his quotes.

There's another one with Han at the awards ceremony with Luke and Chewie at the end of ANH. Can't remember title of the card.

And to answer the other questions, what does some of this CC & Endor stuff have to do with Tatooine. Obviously nothing. The set is just called Tatooine because most of the cards are derived from Tatooine scenes of the movies (but not all of them), although all of the TPM cards are derived from the Tatooine portion of that particular film. Hope that answers your question.

The expansion symbol is the front end (engines in front) view of Sebulba's Podracer.

The Tatooine expansion is released today!!! This expanision introduces TPM characters and events while also containing cards that improve classic trilogy strategies. Coruscant and Theed Palace Expansions are slated for later this year.

I'm going to go get some packs now!

 

I bought my first 4 packs on Thursday!

For rares I got: Qui-Gon's Lightsaber, Anakin's Podracer, I'm Sorry (a LANDO card! ), and uhhhh... something else!

Ooh! I'll trade you something for your Qui-Gon's Lightsaber. It's one of the few I'm missing.

Oh, the other Rare card I got was Sebulba.

Both Sebulba and Qui-Gon's lightsaber are NOT the alternate images. How can you tell them apart, except for the picture? I mean just from looking at the card (assuming you've not seen the images before)?

Bria...the alternate image cards have a gold border around the expansion icon. In the case of the Tatooine set, the expansion icon is a tiny image of the engines of Sebulba's podracer. Its always a little circle on the upper half of the right hand side of the card.
