[tcg] The Death Star. Will you use it in you deck?

I don't think any of the Daeth Stars would work well in my deck.

 

same for me, i got too many expensive units in char, i dont need a death star draining bps

 

While it remains to be seen if it is going to be a valid tournament scene stealer, I will most definitly build several decks around it.

That being said, I think there is a good chance to build a killer deck for it. Just have lotsa Tie Fighters that intercept attacks, tons of damage prevention like High Force Dodge as well as some of the new ones coming out in BOY. Have the unkillable stacked Tyranus in Character, take control of Space, use Death Star C to blow away the entire Ground arena, and next turn drop a small ground unit down and presto, you win. If the LS drops any ground down, just switch Death Star A on top and pummell it.

 

nice idea, but i do not have the cards available to achieve that, ive only got 2 count dooku's and i dont think too many packs of boy are gunna ba available here

 

I've got the same problem as Ben. While I have a slick deck I don't have enough cards to change things around to much.

 

If you can't get it locally, you guys really need to check into mail ordering. It's worth saving up to buy a box.

Hey Bac, how much is the BOY boxes goin for? And how much to ship overseas to Aust? Im thinkin of gettin one or 2, but i dont wanna spent too much, im still in school after all!

looks like the death star card is one in which decks are build around, rather then just thrown in the deck. Its the cost, way too high!

 

I rebuilt my DS deck for Death Stars B and C. I use a bunch of stackable cards and stormtrooper characters, and a few medium build ground units. For space I have lots of small build point TIE fighters.
