It is odd to me that this teaser will likely be released before an actual image has been made available.

Good old fake trailers.

 

Another apparent "description" from the He-Man.org forums (I post there because, you know, He-Man). This is a regular poster there, so I don't know why he would suddenly start trolling. However, a lot of it sounds too good to be true:

I've seen what is apparently the teaser trailer to debut this weekend. Looks cheap in parts. And it looks like a lot of the online rumors are true. There is a shot of what appears to be Boba Fett. Lots of Tie Fighters and X-Wings. There is a chrome Stormtrooper wielding a red lightsaber. There is a shot of Luke, hooded, and with the beard. There is Vader breathing and (what seems to be) Palpatine laughing at the end. There is also a sinister voice saying, "Finally, after all these years, the Empire is reborn." There are shots 3-P0, R2, Chewbacca, and the Millenium Falcon, as well as quick shots of the new human characters.

I think that he runs sw7 news or one of those sites, so "reliable" might be iffy.

 

Did we mislead someone I to thinking the fake trailer poster here was the real one?

 

The Fan Service Awakens.

I enjoy a good amount of fan service, but I don't wish to be drowned in it.

 

All these “descriptions” and fake trailers are getting overwhelming.

 

It's Jedi News, but it's just a rumor and if true it will be rewarding to us.

 

Secured my tickets for Saturday at Regal City North in Chicago. I'm seeing Mockinjay, but I'm not sure I'll be able to concentrate on the film after seeing the teaser.

Still deliberating on whether or not to watch the teaser if it makes an online debut before then, as Gary Whitta was kind of hinting at. Decisions, decisions...

 

I can't believe anyone saw that fake one and believed it was real.

Yeah, it's a good fake, but it's too incoherent and choppy to be real. Also, if anyone who was unsure took the time to google some of the quotes, they would have their answer. Harrison Ford's line about the war horse is from Anchorman 2

And they keep getting worse and are probably subconsciously lowering our expectations for the real one. That last description was so bad that we are now probably going to find the real trailer to be the best Star Wars ever put to film.
