    If I post a url

    http://www.theforce.net

It opens in a new window.

    If I post a link

    theforce.net

It opens in the same window, which is really annoying. BBCode links should open in new windows, just like parsed URLs do.

Can someone just toss this one to Zerosleep for the next small batch of updates?

I open most links in a new tab. I wish there was a TARGET="_tab" option in HTML.

xie - hold down 'SHIFT' when you click any link - it'll make it open in a new window :)

I never knew this. Like they say, you learn something new everyday.

I knew about it, in FireFox Control+Click is a new tab, and I know you were trying to be helpful, but EVERY other forum in the world has all links open in new window.

Instead of finding ways to work around the code, why not fix it?

If the forum didn't display links at all, you could just copy and paste, but it's more annoying than it has to be (and also goes against every other piece of forum software).

Except Lithium. May they rot in hell....

Anyway, I'd like to see this get changed also.

As for working around the way things are now, I've gotten so used to MiddleClicking to open a new tab I coould never go back.
