[TECH] Error with banners

I keep will look at a thread or post to one and there will be no banner or othere stuff other then the tool bar.

Is it just Zerosleep messing with stuff or what?

Yes, that's what it is. Here's what I wrote about it the other day:

Zerosleep is adding and upgrading features to the boards. Some are on the public side and others are on the private side. Each time he is ready to try or implement the change, he has had to restart IIS (Internet Information Services) several times. So the 'service unavailable' will show while that's happening.

 

Ok cool. When will it be done?

I don't know. It's only a momentary thing when he does it.

 

I like the colours better this way.

Just FYI, in the search engine the "All the words entered" drop-down menu is cut off now to just "all the words e"

 

I like it. Comms should stay sterile like this.

 

Or at least a little cleaner.

zerosleep has been working on new admin and mod features for awhile now. No reason to be concerned, you'll get little hiccups every once and awhile when he's working on the boards.

 

Would a temporary sticky thread be helpful here? So many people seem to be asking the same questions...

 

Good I caught this. I was not sure what was going on and was going to report this. ...ah 0-Sleep's at it again. Hopefully, it's not a lengthy job.

 

It freaked me out when I first saw this!

Anyway, I was getting those service unavailable site too. I thought it was just my PC. Hmm...how many more things is Zerosleep going to change around here?

The banners in 3SA are going crazy. Not disappearing, but changing between schemes every time the page reloads.

 

Ctrl-F5 fixes the problem most of the time, I've found.

 

In Fan Fiction on The Saga board I was seeing the plain style IGN sheet. Everything was gone. The drop-down menu. Everything was gone.

 

So how long is this going to last? I mean how many more things dose Zerosleep have to do?
