I got this after refreshing the page because it stalled. Was the one post per minute replaced?

 

No, I think it's a glitch. I freakishly got that once, too, though I don't fall prey to PPM.

 

Can you kill OPPM for me to ?

OPP15S is a restriction for everyone.
OPPM is a User Restriction (does not apply to VIP and up).

When a user posts within 15 seconds, the first rule is applied, and when he posts within a minute (but after 15 seconds), the second rule is applied.

I was pretty sure that was the rule. If you really want to test it, make two posts in different windows and hit submit at the same time.

I've done that. I didn't get the message. I actually did it with three posts all at the same time, and all were posted.

 

I just tested it, 3 simultanious posts, and only 1 went through. I got the OPP15S rule.

Nope. I was a manager and I fell prey to that. Before I stepped down I tried to post two messages at once, but only one went through. The other got the error and as such, I couldn't get the post to go through until 15 seconds were up.

 

I've also faced this rule since I became an administrator. No one is above it.

yeah I think dehiran was kidding Amazing, everyone with a VIP status and up has the OOPPFS to prevent a VIP status from spamming.

 

Well, I'll be the annoying person and test this.

And it could be a server issue to give the db enough time to handle the messages and what-not from a user.. and to keep it from erroring up.

 

And after testing, because I didn't beleive TJ , OPPM is the only rule applied for regular users, I was mistaken.

I read this thread and had to try it... so in two browser windows I wrote up two different replies to two different threads and hit the post buttons right after another... and got the "only one post per 15 seconds" message. Fascinating. Not anything I would ever do under normal circumstances certainly. I rarely even make two posts in the same minute. I had to look around for awhile to find two threads to post in simultaneously.

EDIT: So either Night was in fact right... or due to my belief in that and the hour (I'm in pacific time, it is 3 am here) I hallucinated the 15 second message... which I suppose is possible... I need to go to bed.
