Okay, whatever. Teh top several results on Google all say "muster". "Party" doesn't show up until near the bottom of teh first page. I would tehrefore argue that both terms are acceptable.

 

How many of those are actual science or wildlife websites?

 

Irrelevant. If "muster" is in common enough usage to trump "party" in Google search results, then it's just as valid.

-A group of peacocks is a "muster"
-Sometimes either is called an ostentation, instead.
