    That's because you follow through your plans, Ender. You hadn't factored in to your deductive reasoning that you are too awesome for god to laugh at you and that's why you couldn't hear anything. There's your mistake right there.

    Run in the 5k Turkey Trot. Have run the shorter race (the 3K) in the past but never was ready to run a 5k and put up a number I respect myself doing. About to turn 40 and made it my goal to turn 40 and run the 5k Turkey Trot in a time I would be fine with.

    Deep down though I know the odds of that happening are basically none. I will run chicken out and do the 3k instead. *head down*

    Advice from an old guy who been with the same woman for over 15 years (married for 10)? Get the girl first. I meet my wife when I was a lowly state aide making not much more then a hourly floor manager at Blockbuster Video during that time (bit of hyperbole but you get the point) so expectations have therefore been low in regards to what is in my wallet. :)
