I like the film Attack of the Clones, for one main reason, as it is filled overflowing with great action sequences and character devolpment. ;)

i have to say i like anh the best because even though the lightsaber battle doesn't compare eith the other ones i think it has the best script with the most memorable lines in it... those that say lucas can't write good dialouge need to remember that he did write this one
also the ol' death star trench run is probably my favorite star wars sequence ever/ classic

Attack of the Clones because it blends so well the action, romance, drama, humor, political intrigue and light saber duels we all love about Star Wars. It's also very nicely paced.

Also...Hayden Christensen and Ewan McGregor. Who could ask for more?

    Empire Strikes Back

ESB had a settled feel to it...it wasn't a movie where setting had to be introduced and basics didn't need to be explained. It was deeper then the others...it was about the philosophy of the force, the nature of good and evil, the hazardous course of love, and the compelling demands of friendship. ANH didn't have all of this, and the others have fed on what was in ESB ever since.

Also, ESB had a layer of grime to it...things weren't clean, either literally or in the characters we saw...they weren't perfect, but still met the challenge...and in the end, though the battle maybe lost, the hope was still there.

    Wow...gotta go watch it now.

Empire Strikes Back is my favourite film, because ... the film has a story , the special effects are amazing and.... the sentence that marks the saga : "I'm your father Luke.." , because we never think that vader could be luke's father!

And the music ... Imperial March!! :)

I'll jump in on the trend - ESB

The reason, well there all great, but in ESB Darth Vader (my favorite character in the whole saga) was at his ultimate strength, and it evokes such memories from when I was young. ANH does it too, but not to the same extent as ESB. TPM also evokes great memories from 1999, and I love the film, but I'm getting a bit off the subject.

    Return of the Jedi:

    - My favorite duel thus far
    - The greatest space battle in film
    - Ewoks are cuddly
    - Slave Leia
    - Boba Fett is still the man despite his lame "death" (true fans know he would live on to become the mayor on Serpindal)
    - Yoda's death still makes me feel sad
    - A-Wings are sweet
    - Special Edition end theme is my favorite piece of music from the saga
    - Max Rebo and his funky beats
    - Lando returns the Falcon "without a scratch"
    - Slave Leia

I don't even like star wars. I come here for all the supremely intillectual threads by 9 years olds.
    Some of my favorites:
"OMG! LOLS!! Darth Maul is so cool!!11!"
    and the classic:
"Would you rather have Obi-Wan as your friend, or your boyfriend."

    Mmm...good times.

It's always been A New Hope for me. A lot of lines that are just classics.
