Temporary replacement for Zan's chatroom.

That was extremely helpful Sorridom.

Since many of those mebers have ceased to be active, I'm not going to bother assigning them Ranks unless they come back.

We'll present the ranks, Personalized Subtitles, and Honarary Positions how they are and allow for subtle changes. I'll have them PM their preferences to me and we can come back here to discuss them.

We'll use the members list to assign the ranks and then tag on the PS and HP.

 

I was thinking that the PS and the HP should be earned. We can allow the Ps of those already ahve them, but those whoa re not included in the lsit above should earn a title.

 

That sounds good but how do they earn a PS?

I was actually thinking it could be a thing voted on by the masters and Us.

We wnat our first coordinated decison as leaders to atleast sound and look coherent lol.....Though some are growing impatient. I've been ahving troubles with my computer and editing the website...and discovered the problem today...I forgot I cant use the rich Text Editor toolbar in FireFox......So I should be starting to make real changes to the club site soon over at MSN.......

I'll probably acquaint myself more closely with the site later on; still relatively busy today.

 

As am I too busy so far. Though tonight I hope to make a few changes. Also I think one of us should go ahead and contact a EU mod and have the clubs name changed to the Acolytes of Revan instead of the Darth revan Fanclub

I'll contact the mod. I had forgotten about that and I'm sorry. But not now, I'm much too .

We talked alittle about the ranking system, but we ahvent nailed down exactly where we wanna go with it.

Are we going to allow Ds and Ls Ranks?

Are we doing master/knight/apprentice/initiate.....

Are we goign to nail it down to jsut Ls or just DS?

will we combine the two and make a Master/Sith Master And so on.....

 

I think we'll just stick with Master/Knight/Apprentice/Initiate. The system isn't complicated but it is being taken as such on the thread. We'll allow the little Male/Female and LS/DS/N factions to grow on their own.

I think the job right now is to give everyone on that list a Rank. Here's my proposal, feel free to discuss any of the ranks I've assigned:

Sounds good to me......now we need to figure out exactly how people will advance in the ranks...

 

Here's what I think:

As new members come in, we assign them a master to kind of fellowship them into the group. The masters let us know when they feel their "Padawan" deserves a rank advancement. We'd discuss it and grant the new rank. The Padawan may also make a request to their master when they feel it is time. Ultimately, we'll look and their activity, contribution, and first post date. Using the roster list, it should be evident when someone deserves a higher rank.

 

Everything looks fine.

Advancement from Knight to Master will still depend on time/activity/contributions, right?



Also, I completely support making dragonsith13's Navy title into an Honorary Position.

 

Correct. And I think it would make a good Honorary Position. I wasn't sure if it should be a PS or an HP, but I like it as an HP.

 

I think we can conclude business. I'll start the ranks on the thread and we'll discuss any problems we might have when they happen.

In response to inquiries from the thread; will Apprentices be chosen by the Masters?

 

I think that masters choosing their apprentices is a Good diea. that way we can be sure that everyone will get a pairing that won't cause problems. And if it turns ou that an Apprentice is Masterless another Master can take them on and finish their "training."
