FF:SA Ten Pin Bowling - April

Okay, so who is in for Ten Pin Bowling??

MsWinter suggested that we do it sometime between Easter and the premiere of episode 3. Does anyone have any suggestions on a date? Does a Saturday night work best for you all?

I think that Norwood is probably the most central bowling alley.

 

there are two dates we could go for....

the 15th or 16th of April (Fri or Sat night)

or the 29th or 30th (Fri or Sat).....they fall smack bang between Easter and EpIII.....


as an added bonus, they're my weekends free (the boys are at their dads), which means I'd be able to make it.

you guys decide, let me know....unfortunately with my life the way it is, I can't promise to organise things (I get waaaaaaay to busy and tend to forget)......

 

At some point around then I was thinking of putting on the Star Wars 'day' like the old Parsec meetings. Sorry I haven't nutted out a date yet as I was messed up by a school reunion on the weekend of the first of April and then I may be going to Brisbane (Ray Park and Temuera Morrisson) on April 9th and then a mate coming to visit from Japan for a couple of weeks in late April/early May.

Argh!

I was thinking this could be on the Sunday in the 16/17 (can't remember) of April OR two weeks later. As long as people wouldn't mind bowling being at a different time.

More news when I speak to tptb at work about hiring of facilities.

And if we hold bowling in late April / early May, we might be able to get school holiday type deals (2 games, shoe hire and a coke etc ).

 

Well, from a rural perspective (and I don't mean Elizabeth!!), Friday nights are OK if from about 7:30pm, due mainly to the driving, Saturday nights are optimum, an if you could couple the Bowling (Sat. night) and the SW 'day'(Sunday), then that would sweet.

But whatever you organise, we'll try to be at.

 

looks like it's set....I agree with Toddi...make it a Saturday night, maybe with a SW thingy on the Sunday...that would work juuuuuuust nicely for my agenda!!

We have heaps going on for the next 6 weeks too, A-D!! (Uni, Work, going away to Melbourne, costumes for both of us for me to make, organising going to Kangaroo Island sometime, kids, etc, etc) Can't you just have one night for the crew? oh, come on..you know you want to!

As I said, those dates work for me, and they seem to work for others too, so maybe around then? Yell out if you need anything, ok, S-P? I'll be happy to make phone calls to book this if I'm given all the info beforehand, such as how many lanes, how many games, etc,etc.....

 

Bowling sounds good but i am out for the 17th April..

maybe we should hold off bowling till May and school holidays.

the other date suggested was the 30th of April - a Saturday night....I'm sure we could teach your mate from Japan a thing or two about how not to bowl, Oz-Skipp, if you wished to bring him along.....

Excellent. End of April/early May ties in with holidays for me quite well

I better get on top of this soon, the holidays will be so full of craziness with my mate visiting from Japan...loadsa partying and all that.

16th weekend is no good for me anyway, 18th to go to.

That is a Saturday night, which means that we can all relax and have fun with it. Lets not make this a 'rules and all' event, lets just try to have fun with it, yeah?
