Add Skip, Jen and Japan Jason (even though he's originally from Stirling).

Not too fussed if the bowling centre is licensed or not (although Cross Road *was*) cos we'll be out and about that night anyway. Norwood hotel, nightclub, rave, whatever :D....Jase will be back and we'll be partaying :)

Oh crud, did I offer the Star Wars day the next day....OMG!

It may *seriously* have to be the following Sunday, but I'll do my darndest to have it on that Sunday cos Toddi will be down and all.

Only other hassle I can see is that all the Star Wars DVDs come out on April 6 (Clones, Ewoks animated, Ewoks kiddi crap, Droids), but I (and others) have more than enough already (Skip pats laptop :) ) I guess.

we've all agreed on the Norwood bowl, as it's the most central location, kooky....

don't add your name unless you're certain.....numbers will be definites....once the lanes are booked, there will be no ring-ins...sorry.

btw...how did it happen that I'm organising this????

If money is needed to book, I'll need some help there....I can't afford to pay for everyone then get money back.....
    :)

    I bowled league.

    In year 9 at school.

    That was 1989.

    Yeah, I'll suck.

But last time I went bowling with (10+) mates, we all drunk at Cross Road while bowling (yeah, I was about 20 or so), I got 140 so I was happy. Scotch + big balls = fun ;)

    uh...yeah...... :D

    I've never bowled league.

    I don't bowl often.

In fact, I suck at bowling.

but that's okay.....I'm just here to have fun.....no competition here.....

no-body is throwing me down any lane though, ala Rove style.....

I'd be too heavy to pick up in the first place!!!! :D

    right!!

    whats happening with this??

    have we all lost interest?????

are we going bowling or not???????

I didn't mean to take over S-P, but figured we need to get this organised asap, because otherwise we might not get a lane or two

    I need names people, names!

once again, if you are interested and are definetly available to come bowling on the 30th April at Norwood Bowl and drinks after for T-K's birthday, add your name to the list.

Heyyall !! I can be there but like Rui, don't know about the bowling, see I may not be able to make the 6 o'clock start. Would like to see you all though. Crows home game that day & I'm not sure what time it finishes, if it finishes in time I'd bowl.

okay.....last time, cos I figure you're all big people now who can read.

add your name to the list. that way the count won't get stuffed up by me and my bad maths.

if you aren't sure.....there will not be a space for you to bowl if you don't add your name.

thanks A-D....I really don't want anyone's name on the list who isn't likely to turn up to bowl though.....the list is so that I know how many lanes to book. * Those who don't want to bowl can turn up and watch, but don't need to add their name, as they won't be playing, and as such, won't need a place in a lane.*
I'm sure everyone would agree that we don't want to be paying for anyone who isn't there out of our pockets.

sorry to sound so pedantic, but the point is - after all the organising done on here, and the way that some just haven't turned up at all to events after saying they will, or being in two minds 9-'yes I will, no I won't',- I don't think it's fair that anyone gets any special treatment for 'just in case'. That's my thoughts, anyway.

so....if your name is on the list, but you aren't going to bowl, please remove it IMMEDIATELY. .

    thankyou.

    :)

With the number of people that are down for the list, I reckon two lanes would be good. Perhaps three, but two are good because then we can have one lane versus the other. The computerised scoring can add up total teams scores and such. :)

And I *think* that if you book two lanes only the people that turn up have to pay. I don't think that you 'pay per lane'. Of course it'd be great if everyone could turn up, but sometimes uforseen things happen.

Just got a reply from Jase - he'll be up fer bowling - Yay!

I'll see if I can suss out any deals that are running during the school holidays....quick google search.....checking amfbowling.com.au.....nothing up there for holidays yet, but there will be soon I'm sure. Can usually get two games and food/drink for $10-$14 iirc.

It's all good :D It's another month away, so I don't think we need to stress out about it at all. Hell, I've organised lanes before for a large group, on the day we were planning to go out, so I don't think we'll have a problem getting ourselves a few lanes. I'm sure it will be a fun night, whatever happens :D
