That would be okidokey with me. Note that he recently played a role in the TCW.
Oh, God. I know a lot of people like him but I don't get it. I think he's awful. Sorry.
No, he is a good actor. What kind of role can he play, though?
What actor wouldn't want to be a part of SW? I'd be surprised if an actor said: " Star Wars? Unh-uh, that'd be the death of my career."
I think we found anakin solo
Most likely because it will be a PG-13 movie at most...
Star Wars makes you famous, but it isn't always good for careers. For example, Mark Hamill couldn't get jobs because Luke was too iconic, and Hayden Christensen lost a ton of respect after Star Wars.
Star Wars is the first time i heard of Christiansen, so i don't know much about the respect part there.
And Hamill has always been the voice actor for me,
Voice acting, even as the star, is a less prestigious job than traditional acting.
After Star Wars, Christensen was criticized by everyone. He was called a bad actor. A lot. However, before Star Wars, he already had a career and it was an acclaimed one with prestige. He was though of as a "good" actor (like Natalie Portman/Meryl Streep/George Clooney etc.). SW was good for the fame part of his career but not the prestige or critical part.
It migh tbe less prestigious, but it has a damn good impact upon the entertainment industry, equal to live action.
Voice acting does have impact. It is still less prestigious. Just as being in an Adam Sandler film is less prestigious than being in a Spielberg film, and being the lead is more prestigious than the supporting character.
being Adam sandler is less prestigious than anything
But it is seriously famous.
So see? There is a difference between fame and prestige.
It's adam sandler.
there is no fame or prestige.
as far as i am concerned anyway.
Rebecca Black is famous but has no prestige
stop trying to change the subject.
David Tennant is a good choice, he's already been in The Clone Wars series, he was in last weeks episode matter of fact and did a great job.
Love Tennant, and not just because of Doctor Who. Look up his portrayal of Hamlet some time - the guy can seriously act.
I think he'd make a very good villain actually. I saw him in something on TV years ago where he was playing a psychopath and he was VERY convincing.
Am i the only anakin solo nut on this thread?
I like Tennant but mainly as the Doctor. I've seen some of his work outside of Doctor Who and frankly, I doubt he would have earned the attention on those performances without DW. He's talented but definitely nothing extraordinary. Truthfully, he isn't even my favourite Doctor.
