So when a mediocre to terrible calibre actor, going quite fast in a Porsche, furiously slams into a tree and extinguishes a career largely known for high octane, lowbrow films, he gets a thread in the JC and a tonne of weepy girls on social media.

Screen legend Peter O'Toole, who had so many amazing roles (and also Supergirl), gets mentioned in the deadpool thread.

Philip Seymour Hoffman, who also had so many amazing roles (but also Hunger Games), also only gets mentioned in the deadpool thread.

It's time for you to have a serious think about yourselves, JC. And when you've done that, perhaps you would care to account for your sins in this thread?

Everyone knows you don't get your own thread based on talent. You only get your own thread if you're attractive and have taken your shirt off in a movie.

I seem to remember Paul Walker's death only being discussed in the existing Fast and Furious thread.

 

Possibly because that was neither old age, nor thought to be self-inflicted at the time? Also, because he was far more popular than either of the other two to the majority of posters here?

Why? Every era had things like that, ours is no different. I'm sure there were people who preferred more "popular" actors to Welles, Brando, etc. in their respective ages...

 

I wouldn't say Walker was more popular among JC'ers. At least, I sure hope he wasn't. ​
