Guardians of Ga'Hoolie: the "just because you can't see it doesn't mean it doesn't exist" religious indoctrination, the music video montage. Horrible song just does not fit.
Braveheart: the stuff involving Mel Gibson and any scene with the British.
    Tom Cruise's career.
    Star Trek 4,5,7,8,9,10,11
"Less than 12 Parsecs". Horrible line that has caused nothing but trouble.
"Flying through Hyperspace isn't like dusting crops" speech. How many takes did Harrison Ford need for that one?
    Ewoks.
    The Prequels.
    Clone Wars season 3.
    Indiana Jones 4.
Any preachy scene in any movie. I do not like sermons or religious indoctrinations in my entertainment.
Everything after the collapse of the Bassilica at the Vatican in that 2012 movie.

The punching scene in Mr Smith Goes to Washington, and there's one musical scene in Singin in the Rain that I loathe, but have substantially blocked out now. The pointless one.

The storyline with the guy trying to bribe Lucious and Bruce in regard to Batman in The Dark Knight. It could have been something interesting, but it just fell flat and felt shoe - horned in.

Collateral: Everything that occurs after the car crash. In fairness, unlike the other moments I've mentioned, I actually like this sequence and think Mann directs the hell out of it, but compared to what came before, it is disappointing for the film to go down the extremely formulaic route.

can you people just shaddup and watch A Night to Remember if you don't like Kate and Leo?

ROTK - anything about the dead army. and really most anything the EE adds: Saruman's death scene, the drinking game at Edoras, Aragorn's uncivilized beheading of a diplomatic ambassador of Mordor, Gothmog's second death scene aka Eowyn's bad hair day, and the terribly executed confrontation between Gandalf and the Witch King,

Agreed. While I like some of the additional content (Merry swearing fealty to Theoden, Faramir telling Denethor he wouldn't use The Ring under any circumstance, the aftermath of Pelennor, and some other moments), on the whole ROTK is the one film where the extended version feels worse than the theatrical cut.

That random screeching cockatoo in Citizen Kane. I don't care if it's symbolic, it's just... WTF is with that cockatoo?!

The screeching cockatoo is probably my favorite part of the film.

When I was a kid I could have sworn that scene - particularly the ballet part with the long flowing scarf thing - was at least half an hour long and took up 1/4th of the movie. I finally timed it and realized it was 'only' like 8-10 minutes. Still too long.

The really bizarre and unneeded fight sequence between Gary Busey and Mel Gibson in the original Lethal Weapon that is really hilarious nowadays for all the wrong reasons.

The best part is Murtaugh ordering the other cops not to intervene even when Riggs is clearly getting beaten to death.

I know. That whole sequence makes absolutely no goddamned sense. A shame because it's otherwise a very well-made gritty little actioner.
