Some humans are evil, but not you greg, you're just a scoundrel!
So, greg, if I read correctly, you think Luke is rather salty, eh?
I think both you and Varza stated your thoughts quite eloquently and very honest and very truthful. Kudos to you guys.
he also looks a little undercooked in EPIV.
Preach it my brother.
I do agree. We tend to focus on what is different and not celebrate the similarities. It is amazing to me how people use their religion and their God in the name of war, murder, and hate.
My $5 check is in the mail.
propgeek = scoundrel... check!
luke = undercooked and salty check!
karenec1 = $5 check!
Cooool! You guys keep me so grounded. Thanks. I love you.
I just had a thought. Could we take up a collection for the British Red Cross? That way our $5 to $20 donations could add up to a significant check from the geeks in Albuquerque, NM. I'll be happy to organize this effort if you guys are supportive.
Propgeek, that's a great idea.
I will give you what I can on mondya propgeek, I am a little strapped this season... I purchased a bunch of stuff off of my stores before I knew about the attack
I always say that no donation is too small. It's all the little donations that were never given that could've done a whole lotta good.
Keeping me grounded once again, eh Andromeda13...
you're killin' me heah!
Sorry, but I used to say "I had a thought" a long time ago, before my Mom used to respond "Wow! We didn't know you had those!" I stopped saying that, as you can see why!
Wow, good analogy Brother Propgeek!!!! And I'll contribute as well...maybe we can get the donations at the meeting?
I already sent in a donation, but heck, I will donate again if you guys collect them at the meeting.
looks like tony blair is gonna get tough on muslim clerics that preach hatred and terror against his country...of course to the objection of people in his country
Yeah, terrorism is fit for cowards, no question.
The way I see it, there are only a few possible ways to bring this conflict to a speedy end, all of which are extreme. And guess what, we won't do any of them.
Not to sound like a hard @$$ or anything, but if there's something that I think hampers our progress in the "war on terror", it's America's misconception that war is about making friends with 3rd world civilians instead of killing the enemy.
...just my two cents.
Truman had no problem taking the appropriate action in WWII. I am also a firm believer in Teddy Roosevelts Big Stick Policy "Speak Softly and Carry a Big Stick" Just use the stick alot more!
Teddy was an racist!
P.S. Good to see you back Brother!
Good to be back bro.
my manpanion has returned!!!
yes sir. back to instill my jedi wisdom.
