You don't really need to understand French to figure it out.
My French is crap but I think it is a map of borders and other places where walls and other barriers are or have been built for various reasons.
I thought it might be about conflicts since the fall of the Berlin Wall and then since 9/11, but why are the lines different colors?
Dude, what could "barrieres et clotures" possibly mean? Or "motivation de la construction?"
