I've never seen Murder She Wrote, but I really wasn't under the impression that it was a comedy.

Those maps are really interesting, but I wish they identified highways and such. I'm trying to figure out what the large green blob of Asians in LA is... Pasadena? Or Glendale?

EDIT: Here is the link to the full list where you can scroll over and it'll tell you what different areas are. And that, that's Pasadena. Hm...

This map is from http://blog.okcupid.com/index.php/gay-sex-vs-straight-sex/]okcupid.[/url] The titles aren't part of the image, but it's called "Who's Gay Curious In The U.S. And Canada." Red represents more gay curious, blue represents less gay curious, and yellow and green are in between.

Now when people accuse the U.S. of being homophobic, it can say, "Nuh-uh! Canada's one of my best buds and it's gay. Not . . . that there's anything wrong with that."

I didn't realize there were so many gay-curious people living on the Channel Islands. Or any people. I cry foul!

But yes, Canada is super gay-curious. Let's blame the French!

I'm surprised that the gayest province appears to be Manitoba. Who knew?

And why does Mississippi always have to be at the bottom of the list?

Maria, that's beautiful. I've only looked through the first two so far, but I love "pizza and museums" (no wonder I like Italia!) and lol@Byzantium for Greece.

Map of the planet Eternia. Not as detailed as some others, but you get an idea where Castle Greyskull, Snake Mountain and the Royal Palace are in relation to each other.

Those European Shouting Match maps are brilliant! And of course, they do reflect a bit on each country's own culture....

This was my favorite. Too true. :p

Pasadena is a bit further north, that aught to be Alhambra I believe. Got a friend that lives/did Census work in the area.

I stumbled onto this interactive map of European history last night. I wound up being up until 4:30am because I was so interested in reading it. Largely a refresher, but some of the further back stuff I don't really know anything about.

They apparently also have such maps for other things, like the history of Iraq and certain wars. Haven't even finished this one yet, though, so I haven't gotten to those.

Nice interactive map of European history there, but I think it's a bit confusing in parts (I'm no history expert). And I had to LOL at Great Moravia's description being "Slovak Kingdom Formed". [face_laugh] 1, Slovaks never had a kingdom of their own, and 2, at that time the Slavs weren't split into nations as they're now (so there were no Czechs, Poles, Slovaks, Russians yet - it was just Slavs at that time; at best they were split into the three branches, Western, Eastern and Southern).
