    Hey Guys...
I just finished a short test on Anakin's lightsaber. I wanted to do it another way to get the "movie look." I did it to a still pic so the movements arent all that great. Let me know what ya think.

It is a quicktime On2 VP3 Video 3.2 file. For some reason I couldnt upload a Sorenson Video 3 file. The guy I asked about file exporting types said use one of those two. Is it working for anyone else??

Download to your computer with "Save target as..." then rename the file to a .mov extension.

The effect itself, I think the haze looks a little too opaque, especially against the sky. You might want to try different blending methods such as screen or add. The reason most people like to use this is because it's truer to how light reacts with a given background.

Of course, it's good to experiment with other methods. Some methods might look better with different backgrounds.

Keep it up! Post if you try anything new.

    TO ALL MAC USERS:

You must end the filename with ".mov" in order for it to work.

I have nothing different to add, except... well... that's a kinda... suggestive position for a big stick, albeit a glowing stick. And he can move it without his hands.

    Most impressive.
