See, that's the biggest problem -- if you're not trying to improve yourself, and you're not a 10, how are you going to get a 10? Granted, a wealthy guy who is a 5 may be able to land a 10, or an intelligent guy with good personality who is a 6 or 7 may be able to get an 8 or 9, but there's not THAT much variation in general in attractiveness. They've done quite a few studies on that, actually, and found usually partners are within 2 points of one another. If you're a 4, you're going to be lucky to get a 6.

Guys are very visual, though, so I don't find it surprising that any guy -- even the ugliest, fattest nerd -- is going to want a 9 or a 10. Those are the desirable girls, physically speaking. My standards and desires haven't changed at all between when I was a scrawny pimply faced nerd to when I got muscular and in shape and all of that. I've still always wanted the hot girl, either way, the only difference is my actual success lol.

im not gonna participate. apparently my american is british and my british american and when i really concentrate on sounding american it comes out as over the top yee-haw texas so.
