Kylo Ren - played by Adam Driver

He's part of the 'Knights of Ren' - a group we know nothing more of.

He's supposedly a force user, has a cross guard lightsabre that he constructed himself. He's fascinated by Darth Vader and keeps his melted helmet on a stand in a private chamber.

Toy spoilers indicate that he's the 'commander of the First Order' and he's got a temper. He's searching for Luke Skywalkers lightsabre, we presume because it holds the secret to finding him.

He has some interaction with Snoke although we don't yet know if thats his master or not.

Spoilers point towards him being the son of Han Solo and Leia but we really do not know this for sure.

 

I saw the trailer earlier and noticed Tatooine only has one sun now. Do we know why?

 

The planet you saw was actually not Tatooine but a planet called Jakku. You'll find alot of wreckage on the planet as a major battle took place there after the Battle of Endor.

 

Is Darth Vader alive? Because Luke said "my father has it?"

Their positions are very compromising.

 

That's audio lifted from ROTJ, Vader is indeed dead.

 

Is that girl in the trailer the daughter of Luke or Han/Leia?

 

No one knows yet, it's possible that we don't find out in Episode 7 at all.

 

When does this film take place? It must be before 25 BBY, because Chewbacca is alive in TFA, am I right? And which actress will play Mara Jade?

Who is Mara Jade? She hasn't been in any of the films. Do you know something we don't?

From what we've been told, the film takes place roughly 30 years after RotJ. Chewbacca was alive at the end of that film, and is alive at the start of the new film, so I'm not sure what you're saying.

Why is there a silver stormtrooper in the trailer? Are the silver stormtroopers the elite forces?
