Darth Jar Jar does not die like that. He's going to have an epic lightsaber battle with Rey (killing her), then with a reformed Kylo Ren in Episode IX

I saw it 5 hours ago. It seemed obvious enough to me.

He's very pale. Almost if not completely white. The red lighting makes it hard to tell the skin tone but it's definitely a Gungan. I doubt J.J. was tossing in random Gungans, so take it as you will.

For the record, I don't dislike Jar Jar. As a character he has a very kind heart and always seems to think he's doing right. However, I also understand that he is not very well liked by the majority of fans, and it seems to be that he was killed off in this instance.

 

I'm off on break, I don't live near a metro anymore, I don't have a job right now. It won't take Disney killing Jar Jar to get me in for a 10th time at this point haha

 

I've got it paused on a 40ft screen. I don't see Jar Jar or any Gungan whatsoever. There's a paleish blue guy but he has very dissimilar features.

 

If it turns out to be true, JJ has really done a public service and should be given some sort of medal. Maybe even a Nobel Peace prize for restoring order to the Galaxy.

 

Just saw it again last night and specifically was on the lookout for him. I tried, but I didn't see him. I do need another look again. My eyes were trying to catch each face but it was too fast.

 

I knew it. I also envy you right now. "Ok, I'm going to go ahead and watch TFA on the big screen and pause it whenever I like".

 

Jar Jar is hated so much that he can officially be considered the biggest villain in movie history.

 

There has been an awakening on the Jar Jar hate. A year ago it wasn't an issue at all, just a forgotten character.

It's part of the whole "Star Wars is back and the prequels were dog ****" agenda. While I'm a passionate PT hater, I think the shtick's getting old fast.

 

So the force awakens is all about the force of the hate of Jar Jar?

I refuse to believe the New Republic would have Jar Jar, the representative who instigated the vote to give Palpatine/space-Hitler total control over everything, which led to the Clone Wars, the destruction of the Jedi, the dictatorship of the Empire/death of the Old Republic and the Civil War and planet destroying weapons.... I refuse to believe they'd give that mofo his old job back.

 

Despite what all the cool kids say against Jar Jar I hope his fate was to live to be an old gungan and die peacefully surrounded by his family. There I said it. Maybe he had some ugly kids with his girlfriend from TCW. I find the hatred for a fictional character quite humorous. I mean are you guys being serious or just messing about? Lol.

 

Sorry but I don't see him anywhere.

The ears are there but the face looks different.

 

Yeah I don't think that was him. Almost looks like he has a 'beak'. Only ears are similar.



oh well...maybe next episode...

 

I don't know why but seeing the big guy with his ears all covered up, dignified and all in the senate clothes, make me feel a bit weapy. I hope that they do put some practical effect Gungans into the ST just so we can see how they would be sans early CGI .. oh .. wait .. that head is on a stick

 

Actually I would have made Jar Jar the Chancellor of the Republic.
