I like it but the Disney logo is too big

 

I'm a fan of simplicity, but that teaser's a bit too sparse even for my bland taste! I lean toward the iconic graphic image. The floating heads make me sad. We know what the actors look like for crying out loud! I like the designs that hint at the story's theme. A poster that emphasizes contrasts - harking to the "dark vs. light" that we got in the teaser trailer - would be just the thing.

 

Maybe a manager of that movie theater just like that fan-made logo?

 

Haha, its kind of like all those fast food "workers" in TV Commercials who're all actually actors and models. And the First Order is no exception!

Ah, Poe, Threepio, Artoo and BB-8 made the cut!

 

The background of that trio of troopers (one of, I just noticed, has a ESB-style tripod gun) in the lower right corner is somewhat evocative of the TIE hanger seen in the trailer as well as the cam leak from a few months back. I wonder if it could be a screen grab from the film?

 

That sun will engulf them all.

 

Who designs these things? So bad. But cool to see some flametroopers throwing flame.

 

Hey, you try and maintain artistic integrity when you know that your work is going to become a cheapjack sticker glued to the back of a cardboard basketball hoop.

Because when I think Star Wars, I think a hearty game of nerf-hoop.

 

Wish we'd get an official poster. The lack of one this close to release is frightening to me. Hopefully at comic con they unveil an official poster. Enough of the secrecy!

An official poster was released at Star Wars Celebration. Just the movie logo on a starfield.

 

That was a pretty poor poster to begin with, so I can't wait for a real poster.

 

That is the poster that most of us expected that we'd get first though. It's just a teaser poster.
