To me, THE FORCE AWAKENS felt a bit like a pilot, as it has to introduce lots of characters. But I WILL say I'm LEGIT excited for Episode 8.

Daisy Ridley, by the way, is excellent. Great find by JJ. Adam Driver makes a solid villain. And I wanted more Oscar Isaac, as I always do.

Tried asking him his feelings on Boyega. got no response

One last thing --- The Force Awakens very much occupies the creative space and feel of the Original Trilogy. Wonderful continuation.

I've got to say. I was watching the live stream and dude, Oscar Isaac, Carrier Fisher, and Billie Lourd just stole the show, particularly Carrie. I just couldn't stop laughing. So awesome.

 

May be not as Lando Calrissian and Han Solo but if they were to do a film like the Kirk Douglas - Burt Lancaster vehicle, Tough Guys, i'd watch it.

"This will begin to make things right" is the first line of spoken dialogue in STAR WARS: THE FORCE AWAKENS, and I suppose that is true.

 

Any word on whether they used the awful fanfare from the digital release?

 

Gustavo Dudamel apparently composed the opening fanfare and end credits of TFA!

Disappointing that there's no picture of George with the original cast.
