I have to set my priorities.

 

Resistance Rey is truly the grail of 6" Black Series at this point! I'm glad I picked up Chewbacca when I did as well, I haven't seen him in forever!

Wait, what the heck? There is no 6" BS Bob figure available? This is a travesty.

Got a 6 inch Kylo Black Series. WOW that is cool!!! Talking about intricate detail! What I wouldn't have given for that kind of figure to have come out in 1977/78.

 

The BS is awesome. I used to only collect 3.75 and 12'', and now I think I'm done with both and only doing 6 inch.

 

The supply for TFA figures has been meager. Gotta admit I never thought about much back in September since I figured, if I actually got any for the hell of it, they'd have an endless supply.

Still no work on a Maz or Snoke figure either????!!!!!

 

After a more than a month drought here I finally found something new today with the newest 2 packs. Picked up Ithano and Quiggold. Loved the designs of those 2 and they're pretty great looking figures. Unfortunately nothing new on the 6" front though.

As frustrating as it has been finding 3.75 figures of the main characters, the scarcity will probably result in them holding their value better years later. Right now I was able to buy and extra Resistance Rey and Han Solo at Target the other day for $7.99 and they are on Ebay going for $20.00-$30.00 right now.

 

I haven't checked since before TFA came out, but does anyone know if they ever released a decent (T-70) X-wing toy? I saw this travesty and have stayed far away from it(!). I'm looking for something similar to the old Action Fleet toys... I really liked how for a reasonable price point (then), they were of decent quality, were very accurate models in terms of scale, and were a good size (not too big or small).

 

Haha, I'm not sure, but why is that a travesty? Anyway, look how much fun it must be.

That pic certainly looks like "fun had by all!" lol. But reading the reviews, it sounds like the nose cone and (especially) the laser cannons are usually warped due to the material used to make them. It also REALLY bothers me that the fuselage and S-foils are way out of proportion with each other (fuselage is too wide). Also, the cockpit/canopy is proportionally too large when compared to the already-too-large fuselage... for comparison, look at the side view in my avatar(!).

I agree that it's an attractive toy in terms of paint job/basic design... if everything goes right. But having all four S-foils as straight as shown in the marketing pic above must make this particular toy "one in a million," based on what I've read

Awesome- that looks like just what I was looking for! I really don't need sounds (and hate corroded batteries), so I will probably just leave those out and enjoy how it looks. Thanks!

By the way, I noticed that this same model is available in Poe's Black Leader paint scheme, for those that would rather pay an extra $3.41 than attempt to paint over the standard Resistance model you linked to, haha.

Yeah, I've got the Poe one too, though haven't weathered it yet.
