ST TFA Trailer (#3)

My sister, who was never into Star Wars seems pretty interested in the movie too.

 

Same for my grandfather, actually. I mean, I subjected him to who knows how many repeat viewings of the OT as a kid, but he was always more of a Star Trek guy. I doubt he'll go see it in the theater, since it's rare for him to go in general, but I'll probably watch it with him when it's released on Blu-ray.

Hindsight is a wonderful thing.

 

I would say for me it's hard to measure the current Japanese trailer and the most recent American trailer. The only reason I would give or not to the American trailer is that used in the music track which is very dramatic but I can't fault the Japanese trailer for using normal Star Wars music it sounded like a modified binary sunset.

 

Told you all we haven't seen the last of it, we are getting more footages on Thursday!!! I hope this one we get to see some humor!

Agreed. Everything so far has been very grim in terms of tone.

I don't want new footage though. I feel like we've seen enough at this point.

No because the major problem for me in the prequels was the CGI. I don't think this movie will have that much annoyingly stupid CGI. It's present throughout the prequels, even little things like Obi-Wan and Qui-Gon talking to Jar Jar, I'm thinking FAKE, they are looking at nothing, they aren't looking at his head the right way. Another example in RotS, Palpatine and Windu talking. Background full of Addams Family rejects. HATE IT. That is what ruins the good of the prequels and there is a lot of good, especially RotS.
You can the awesome clones scene on Kamino and the Obi-Wan and Jango fight, then you can have the crappy CGI clones who turn like Robocop. Hit, miss, hit, miss, hit, miss all through the movie.
That's why fanedits are so good. They usually get rid of all the rubbish and you are left with only the good and awesome. One I saw even redubbed Jar Jar and made him into a great character.

 

Howard the Duck and the Special Editions made me apprehensive about the prequels. Star Trek reboots and M:I 3 make me hopeful for this sequel

 

I rarely have SW dreams, but last night I dreamed that it turned out that TFA doesn't actually exist. All the footage we've seen in the trailers and spots was filmed just to make those trailers, and it was all a ruse as part of some huge social experiment.

Speaking of seeing any of these trailers in a theater, I still haven't. My next chance is with Spectre this coming weekend, but it sounds like that's not necessarily a sure thing.

 

Totally thought this whole thing was a dream until that time Mark, Carrie, Peter and the new guys were on stage together.
That would suck to have woken up back in 2012.

When Rey is looking up from the dead? body into what appears to be a white light, anyone ever think that's actually Luke as a force ghost that shows up after that horrific situation that's making her cry? What else would be white like that.

Willing to bet that's the first time she sees a force ghost.

 

We believe it is Finn and those are lights from the Falcon as Chewie rescues them.
