Having never read a Star wars book (outside of the Jango Fett graphic novel), would it be too much trouble to post a synopsis for each stand alone book or series?

[face_thinking] Maybe Jack dropped a small moon on this one.

All those darn NJO books and I can't believe we don't have Force Heretic I and II!!!!!! ARGH!!!!!!! NO FAIR!

I need those two books to be in my brain so I can finish and get to Swarm wars and then be with the rest of everyone else!! This is driving me crazy to have two books keeping me from catching up with everyone else in the world of the EU!!

    Very Nice job Mike!!

    Darth Bane: Path of Destruction

Once the Sith order teemed with followers. But their rivalries divided them in endless battles for supremacy. Until one dark lord at last united the Sith in the quest to enslave the galaxy?and exterminate the Jedi. Yet it would fall to another, far more powerful than the entire Brotherhood of Darkness, to ultimately realize the full potential of the Sith, and wield the awesome power of the dark side as never before.

Since childhood, Dessel has known only the abuse of his hateful father and the dangerous, soul-crushing labor of a cortosis miner. Deep in the tunnels of the desolate planet Apatros, endlessly excavating the rare mineral valued throughout the galaxy, Dessel dreams of the day he can escape?a day he fears may never come. But when a high-stakes card game ends in deadly violence, Dessel suddenly finds himself a wanted man.

On the run from vengeful Republic forces, Dessel vanishes into the ranks of the Sith army, and ships out to join the bloody war against the Republic and its Jedi champions. There, Dessel?s brutality, cunning, and exceptional command of the Force swiftly win him renown as a warrior. But in the eyes of his watchful masters, he is destined for a far greater role in the ultimate Sith plan for the galaxy?if he can prove himself truly worthy.

As an acolyte in the Sith academy, studying the secrets and skills of the dark side at the feet of its greatest masters, Dessel embraces his new Sith identity: Bane. However the true test is yet to come. In order to gain acceptance into the Brotherhood of Darkness one must fully surrender to the dark side through a trial by fire that Bane, for all his unquenchable fury and lust for power, may not be strong enough to endure . . . especially since deception, treachery, and murder run rampant among the Sith disciples, and utter ruthlessness alone is the key to survival. Only by defying the most sacred traditions, rejecting all he has been taught, and drawing upon the long-forgotten wisdom of the very first Sith can Bane hope to triumph?and forge from the ashes of that which he must destroy a new era of absolute dark power.

    Labyrinth of Evil

The war that erupted in "Star Wars: Episode II Attack of the Clones" is nearing its boiling point. In "Episode III Revenge of the Sith", the fates of key players on both sides of the conflict will be sealed. But first, crucial events that pave the way to that time of reckoning unfold in a labyrinth of evil...On the planet Neimoidia, Jedi Knights Obi-Wan Kenobi and Anakin Skywalker set out to capture a treacherous ally of the Sith. Though they come up empty, their daring efforts yield an unexpected prize: intelligence capable of leading the Republic forces to their ultimate quarry, the ever-elusive Darth Sidious, whom they suspect has been manipulating every aspect of the Separatist rebellion. In the escalating galaxy-wide chess game of sabotage and retaliations, Sidious stays one move ahead. Then the trail takes a shocking turn. For Sidious and his minions have set in motion a ruthlessly orchestrated campaign to divide and overwhelm the Jedi forces - and bring the Republic to its knees.

    Revenge of the Sith

You've all seen the movie, people. You know what it's about.

Dark Lord: The Rise of Darth Vader

Throughout the galaxy, it was believed that Jedi Knight Anakin Skywalker?the Chosen One?had died on Coruscant during the siege of the Jedi Temple. And, to some extent, that was true. Anakin was dead.

From the site of Anakin Skywalker?s last stand?on the molten surface of the planet Mustafar, where he sought to destroy his friend and former master, Obi-Wan Kenobi?a fearsome specter in black has risen. Once the most powerful Knight ever known to the Jedi Order, he is now a disciple of the dark side, a lord of the dreaded Sith, and the avenging right hand of the galaxy?s ruthless new Emperor. Seduced, deranged, and destroyed by the machinations of the Dark Lord Sidious, Anakin Skywalker is dead . . . and Darth Vader lives.

I already did :( no luck at any brach in the whole of Pima County. Jake and I went through the entire Computer listing for all the branches with no success for those three books.

Kat gave Jake and I NJO Heretic book III so now I just have to finish reading Heretic book I at B&N and then find NJO Heretic II somewhere in town.. or else buy it off of Amazon perhaps.. is rather inexpensive there.
