If you visit the TFN main page regularly, you may have noticed today the news post about our charity drive. It includes a New Zealand charity, the Cancer Society of New Zealand.

I think most of the people visiting this forum have probably had a family member or a friend die of cancer, and the Cancer Society helps care for the many New Zealanders who develop cancer every year. Here, you can give something back.

We're running this through an Honour System on Amazon.com, usually used by sites to collect small amounts of money. You can give money to the Cancer Society just as if you were buying a Star Wars toy. You can give as little as US$1, or as much as $US50. TheForce.net will pass on all money raised, not one cent will be kept.

So, especially if you're thinking of buying something off Amazon.com, take the time to just give something, even if it is only $1. The only downside is you must have a credit card to pay.

I'm still around :) I haven't had much online time lately, and what I have is mostly taken up with downloading and reading the e-mails I receive through TFN. I'll try to call in a little more.
