TFN, Episode 3 and beyond

That would suck.

 

I see greater possability in an X-wing/Rogue Squadron Novel adpatation TV series than "Gungan Adventure."

At least that's what I hope for instead of those damn incomprehensible frogs.

 

I wouldn't mind seeing a movie that contained the Jedi/Sith war.

 

We may also get a lot of discussion if Lucas releases an Ultimate Edition OT (Padme mentioned in ROTJ, etc) to cinema/DVD, and also a great deal of shouting and bad temper if the originals never make it to DVD.

 

I'll be one of the people shouting if the pre-special edition movies don't make it onto DVD's and if they don't clean up that freaking Obi/Vader duel in ANH. I forsee a long future ahead of TF.N and the JC.

 

You might as well start jumping and screaming now, he already said that pre-special editions were not going to DVD. As he put it, the movies were unfinished...

 

I know he said that and to me that's assinine. There are still some of us that would really like to see the movies the way they were just for old times sake.

Hopefully, Lucas will talk to Spielburg, and copy off of how he did ET, making it contain two DVD's, one of the original theatrical version, and one of the Special Edition.

 

Salty I know what you mean. I am all for him just leaving the movies alone.

 

I think not including the original versions of the films is an insult to the FX guys who basically revolutionalized the industry, and to the directors of TESB and ROTJ. As for "Lucas' vision", I seriously doubt that in 1977 Lucas said, "Gee, I'd really like to undercut the drama of Luke's conversation with Ben by having a goofy robot hit another robot with cartoon like sound effects, just before they enter the cantina."

Ok, I'm getting off topic, sorry. Rant over.

As a staff member for the Virtual Sequels, I can say we'll be here with new stuff until 2006...if TF.N continues to have us. LOL!

Hopefully, the EU as well (unless it's NJO onwards, ugh). However, I don't know what the "purists" are going to do after the movies are finished. I know Josh is a "movies only" kinda guy, but he's already said he's gonna try and catch up with the EU after the movies are done.
