TFN Games annouces: Jedi Outcast Section!

What do you say, Night... we change the current Games banner and put in the new one with a different title.

Because the current one kinda' sucks now. <<<< hehe

I beleive Mark talked about seasonal banners....

But I don't think an entirely JO one is appropriate, we'd need images from different games.

It's a great page for TFN Games. Obi_Wan_01 did the main banner, I did all the secondary design elements.

Got a couple of suggestions though;

In the links to the JO Threads here, you can lose the "Jedi Outcast:" prefix. That should tidy the list up a little.

Also in the tutorial, you sould resize the big reference pic, or cut it in half, or rotate it 90 degrees or make it pop up in a new window. That horizontal scrolling is pretty awful.

Other than that, great work.

I think we should run a skinning comp once the tutorial is wrapped up!

New comp coming in Nov for the Games Forum winter banner... the tfn/games/ section may choose to go with a JO theme for a while. That's cool...

 

Good points on all counts JP. Did them, plus put up Chapter 3.

Maybe any hints, tips, strategies, walkthroughs, secrets, cheats etc that aren't currently listed?

Also mapping & modelling tutorials?

 

One question. Why don't you have a link to the JO weekly game thread?. It would be a great way to get some new players. Also there should be one for the Skins,Mod thread.

Now that we have a skinning section, I think we need a mapping section.

 

Good to see so many enjoy the new addition to TFNG. Those who have any tips on JO they'd like to share, or anything that is appropriate, please do send them in and we'll post up as much as we can over time.

Then there's the server. We're working on that, and we won't stop until we do get one, that's my promise to you all.

By the way, love the new banner artwork
