The design has changed for the news stories. When did this happen, and is it for good? There's no date and you can't tell which update is for which section of the site.

 

I'm wondering that too. I can't read any of the headlines anymore for fear that they are Episode III headlines.

I must agree, the old format was much better.

Love the decision to put less information on the front page. Now I can get accidentally spoiled!


Seriously, at least put the section titles back, if you don't want to put the short summaries. Save us the trouble of clicking it to find out what it's about.

That's right. I still undecided if I want to go spoiler free for Ep.III so that might be a problem. I probably won't but what about those who will?

It looks pretty sucky to me.

Yeah, I don't like it at all. Sorry, I appreciate the effort but I would much rather have the original design and saw nothing wrong with it.

 

I too might as well add my opinion, that the other one was better.

 

If you're worried about spoilers, you can just hover over the links to see if they point to "theforce.net/episode3/". If it does, don't click on it.

That being said, I'm not a big fan of the new layout either.

 

I LOVE the new layout (big fan of streamlining) but HATE the non-directional nature of the updates (i.e. no clear direction as to Books, Episode 3, etc.)

 

The only way I was able to verify where these articles were stored was to either click on them or click into various categories and see if anything had been updated. Not very efficient.
