TFN Poll - How many stars do you give Episode II?

As a film,I give AOTC 4;as a story,I give it 5 stars.

I mean, that's not a review, that is a fan boy comment...it does not give reason for why it serves 5 stars.

It may have sounded as though i was putting down the film in my earlier comment but I would give the film a 4. I wasnt putting down the film, I was putting down peoples reviews that have no attachment explaining why they have given the film the score they have.

I would give AOTC around four stars (perhaps 4.5), if we consider Empire to be the "gold standard," with five stars..I'd rank ANH in between, with 4.5, with TPM and ROTJ tied with between 3 to 3.5 each, depending upon which way the wind's blowing on that particular day.

 

To answer the original Q.

The first time I saw it I was in awe. So for the first viewing I will give 5. However 2nd time it got even better, so Now the first viewing must be only worth a 4, since it got better....but then I saw it for the 3rd time, and again it got better, so now the first viewing can only have 3 as the best since the 2nd viewing now only has 4, because the 3rd time was the best, a perfect 5. Then I waited for the DVD....

I wanted to give it either 4 or 5, but after some thought I decided to go for 5 stars.

Sorry if this isn't enough of an in-depth review. PM me if you're really that keen to hear what I thought.

 

Two stars, and that's generous. It's better than Battlefield Earth and Police Academy 7: Mission to Moscow, but not by much.

One and a half stars, or 3 out of 10 is my grade for AOTC.

 

After many viewings i'm at about 3.5 stars

 

After almost a year of voting, some 65% of people polled rate AOTC at 5 stars, with another 23% rating it at 4.

That's 88% of people polled rating it at 4 stars or better, a very strong vote for AOTC. Good to see

 

We should have another poll at about May 16th.
It would show any difference within the year.

 

5 definitely. great story and plot line, w/ great action sequences and good special effects!

 

I give it a five, but it doesn't have anyhing more action. I dunno.

If I had to stamp a rating on it, I'd give it 4.5 stars. It's simply one of the most enjoyable popcorn flicks I've ever seen. Clones also is littered with some of the greatest action sequences ever.

 

5 stars then and 5 stars now. Nothing's changed for me. Love this movie to death!

 

Yeah, a re-run of the poll could be interesting too.

 

I give it 3/5 stars, good but not awesome like the originals.Episode 1 gets 2/5,for reasons that could take this whole page up.

I gave it 5 stars back in Oct. Even though I like just as equally now as then, I'll go with 4.

 

I'd give Attack of the Clones a 5 star rating easily. The movie really impressed me as an ultimate popcorn movie, as well as helped push me to learn more about SW mythology and history. Thanks to Clones now I'm a Star Wars nut!

One of the most enjoyable films I've seen in a long while. AotC: TIE, that was just orga.... um' awesome beyond belief.
