just about every other journalist has creamed their pants over it - I reckon its unlikely TFN are going to have a different opinion. I just hope they make a spoiler free review

Well, the staff of the site that created this message board for us, has brought us news, spy reports, images, everything you could ask for for years, is seeing Episode II. I really think that we should all take thier opinion to heart and comment on it.


Also, this is the review I've been waiting for. A review from actual hardcore fans. Critics and press don't matter. I want to know what fans think.

Harry Knowles isnt a fan. Nor is CNN, TIME, and every other review we've read. It's time to hear it from fans.

However, if this is not necessary, close it.

For the sake of all of you who have managed to remain spoiler-free, I hope TF.N really doesn't put any heavy spoilers in the review. Maybe a spoiler and non-spoiler review?

Celebration II was so awesome, Star Wars is so awesome, long live George Lucas. The man gets slaughtered opinion wise, but he is seriously a talented genius. He is the worlds' great storyteller. No one does it like him.

Episode II will be...ungodly.

Now, we must wait for the review, and May 16th.

Dont u think that the force.net should have a clock on there home page , cause us foreigners have no frigging idea what tonight is in americana. it could be half way through tommorow for us welsh!

 

I don't know if I am going to read the review. Although I have no doubt that the staff will like it, I am afraid of reading things like, "It was great, but not as good as ESB." or "The romance between Anakin and Padme didn't really work for me." I want to go into the movie able to form my own thoughts without having the opinions of others in the back of my mind. Not that I form my opinions on a movie based upon what others think. I just feel that when someone points out potential problems they had with a movie, then a person tends to look specifically at those moments in the film to see if you agree or disagree. I want to be able to see the movie, get my impression of it and then see what others think.

 

Wow TF.net is reviewing AotC!? COOL!!! 3 years of evading incredibly tempting Episode II spoilers and the movie opens just next week. We're in the home stretch guys! After this review, it will finally be our turn to review AotC with unspoiled eyes! whoo hoo!

That was fun waiting for the mystery trailer.

 

If THEY give it a great review (and I'm sure they will), it will just make the wait harder. My anticipation is growing every day.

 

I almost (but not really) hope they give it a luke warm review. If the review is too good, I'll go crazy having to wait one more week.
