The Star Wars Society I'm part of is doing a promo event for the release of TFU and I'm doing a Juno Eclipse costume.

Pictures from Wookieepedia show that she has at least two different costumes; one is a more traditional Imperial Officer costume, the other a casual variation. I plan on starting with the first (traditional) and then perhaps doing the second if I have time.
I have boots that will work, and I'll probably buy suitable pants as they are rather form-fitting and probably beyond my sewing abilities! So I'll only need to do the top and the hat. I know there are a couple of threads about both components, which will certainly be helpful! I figure it'd be best to do a mock-up first with sale fabric to work out issues.

Has anyone else done this costume? Suggestions? I know the civil war officer costume has been recommended as a starting point. Any tips on modification for female wear? :) The material for the top also looks like it could be fairly stretchy; any idea what sort of material would work best? I guess I'll also need to find a way to do belt and gloves. Recommendations for those are also welcome.

Anyone else working on TFU costumes? I know Clone Wars is a hot item right now, though. :) If - if - I have time I might also work on an Amidala costume since we're also doing an event for the movie release.

One of our 501st gals does a great Juno costume. Let me double check that it's cool for me to post her picture, then I'll slap it up. :)

Huzzah: Here you go. Sorry for the not-so-awesome quality.

Her pants are really form fitting, so yeah, it might be easier to just find some and alter them rather than make them from scratch.

It's me! So here are a couple of things about this character and outfit...

This is only the "concept art" version of the character Juno Eclipse. I did this outfit for G4 and was featured when they did the big teaser show in 2007 for the Unleashed game. It is also not an approved 501st or Rebel Legion costume. As far as I can tell they have gone with the pretty much standard officer's uniform for the game. In a couple of photos you can see that she has removed the outer jacket and has a dark gray tank top on for a more "off duty" look.

The action figure they have come out with shows her in the standard officer's uniform and so does the miniature board game figure. We of course will have to wait and see what they actually do with her when the game comes out.

There is also a question of if she is a "good guy" or "bad guy". Her stats card shows her as a Rebel. It states that she is an imperial who soon regrets her choices.

I have to say I like the "off duty" version better. ;) :p

Miana - thanks for posting the photo!!

Marie - the costume looks great! Now I have to decide between the standard vs. "off duty" look. Off duty would be a bit easier, I think. Shouldn't be hard to find a jacket pattern to modify. (Or I could do both!) I love the stripe down the pants, too. Any particular patterns you used as a base? What sort of material did you get? And how'd you do the rank insignia?
Hope you don't mind answering all my questions! :) I really appreciate the help.

I'm very interested in learning more about her character. Can't wait for the game!

    Thanks Miana!

I'm making my Juno gear at the moment for the 501st. Doing the Imperial officer one, not the rogue shadow. Have the boots, with the belt, code cylinders and greeblie on the way. And I'm waiting to hear from a guy in the garrison down here who makes rank bars.

The pants are cut out, and nothing further has been done. My hat is a little further along but the top stitching is driving me nuts.

But I do have the boots, I need to wear them in as they are so stiff.

Pants are next, but the tunic will take a while as my Mum is going into hospital soon.

Good luck with this. A friend of mine waited almost 9 months to be approved as the 501st's first Juno.

    And my rank badge

    Gloves

    [image=http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v457/Katana_Geldar/DSC00636.jpg]

I'm not sure if these will be 501st approved as they techically fit the CRL but are not screen/game accurate.
