Thats right I can get a little taste of home when I am feeling a bit homesick. Its not cheap of course but where else can I get reese's peanut butter cups or other products.

The funniest part is the lack of things I thought you guys would have.

You have cheesecake but you don't have the graham cracker pie pans filling able to make them at your home.

And pumpkin pie, whats so wrong with pumpkin pie. Its good. Not to mention banana creme pie and coconut creme pie.

And sadly you guys have never had the privilege of a smores. Toasting a marshmallow in a fire and then placing it between two graham crackers and some chocolate. The trick is to toast not burn it.

oh and budweiser and coors doesn't make me homesick. I would never buy a can let alone a case of that stuff for 40 dollars.

and a wonderful fluffernutter sandwich, thats marshmallow spread with peanutbutter. Or if I had some bananas use them instead of the marshmallow spread.

and I have never had so many different kinds of asian foods. And thank you Sushi King for that late night pick me up on the long bus ride home. Its cheap and its filling.

Nothing wrong with Reese's peanut butter cups.

They're really good. and you can get them form the local candy shop from time to time.

Snickers flavoured Pods are a good substitute for the Reece's peanut butter cups if you can't get your mits on them.

its a sweet pie not a vegetable pie.

I've been eating pumpkin pie since I was a kid, thanks to Irish grandparents, real lard pastry too =P~

Just because meat pies are foreign to you Beez, don't mean the good pies are foreign to us ;)

You can get them at that lolly shop in the centreway arcade, on your way to the medieval shop.

I've seen them at a convenience store across the road from my work, not even a specialty shop. They stock Dr Pepper, too.

Smores? I know they're meant to be...uh crackers and marshmellows, but I seriously can't imagine them being tasty.

AS for pies... it's mince meat and gravy in a savoury pastry. It's delicious and good for you on a cold day.

To make an aussie version of a smores you need
    a bag of granita bisquists
some dairy milk cadbury or haights chocolate bars

and one marshmallow toasted over a flame. toasted don't burn it too much.

stick the chocolate and marshmallow between two granitas and presto, a smores

Go to the biscuit aisle (or bisquist aisle) in your local Woolies or Coles and look in the plain biscuits, the Arnott's section for Granita. My Nan used to have them a lot.

Do not diss meatpies, you sepos have quite a lot of weird stuff anyway. What's that thing you do with pigs intestines?

And I tried a Three Musketeers Bar the other day. Nothing special, just a big Milky Way. And I have tried Dr Pepper, didn't like it.

    Biscuits.

[face_shame_on_you] No there is a difference between Musketeers and Milky Way! Honest there is!

Heathen. You don't like DP! That stuff is everywhere here. Though they have recently been replacing it with a somewhat generic brand called Mr. Pibb.

    And pfffft. Aussie smores. [face_talk_hand]

    Must have Hershey's. Period.

    Wow. I quoted myself.

Must be the sugar in the smores that made me loopy. [face_plain]

Man, I don't get the Dr Pepper love either. Shara is crazy for that and Cherry Coke, but I can't stand either. Reminds me too much of medicine.

Of course there's a big difference, Allegra, this Three musketeers is BIGGER. I might try something else today, but not Hershey's, they're not good for you at all but I used to be addicted to them.
