New Jersey Thank you Blizzard of '03

Well, it's all over, but, this was one great storm! We got about 20 inches of snow in Central Jersey here and I haven't had class or work for the past two days! I love snow.

More snow is predicted for Thursday.

 

I heard rain, not snow. It's supposed to be in the mid-40s by the end of the week.

Yes, but, the actual storm itself is over and done with. It's moved out to sea. Any snow we'd get later on is not related to the big system.

I can't believe I missed it! I was stuck in New Hampshire the whole weekend!

We got back, our driveway wasn't shovelled, and there was that huge wall the snow plow had made, so we had to go through the snow to our garage. GAH.

Can't believe I missed the only good snow in 7 years.....

 

sorry to hear that Billy...but you really didn't miss much...it was just white for 2 whole days.

Personally, there was not work for me also. NOt a bad way to spend an extended Valentines Day weekend!

I shovelled my car out on Tuesday, only to find it blocked in on Wednesday morning by the plows and the a-holes in West N Y. I arrived home and NO ONE shoveled. I am parked 3 blocks away.

Moral:
Snow is good, to a point.

Much agreed...when you have snow in both pairs of boots...something is just wrong.


Work is trying to get me to walk in knee deep snow to put up the flag. I refuse.
