Kyp and Jaina fall in love, and run away together, travelling to a strange planet known as Limbo. There they meet Jan Dadonna, Nien Nunb, Callista and many more. They are only rescued by Janson and Kettch, before leaving them on Pantolomin, where the pair decide to live their lives together on one of the Casino ships.

Where are the TAS spoilies?!

 

I did not know where else to post this so I posted this here.

In an advertisement for Dark Journey, it stated that Jaina flees to Hapes where the Jedi are held responsible for a tragedy long past. Can someone tell me what that tragedy is? With all the talk and debate over romance in Dark Journey, it got me curios about the more serious aspects of the story. Since we're on the topic of romance in DJ, let me ask this: Did Isoloder appear to have any opinion on Chume'da's wanting him to marry Jaina. Did he even appear to know?

I thought it was just weird. I mean I can't see Jaina as a queen and I really can't see her doing that, marrying a man to become a queen...

 

I agree with you on that point Becca. But how did he react. It seemed that earlier in the NJO, Isolder still held some feelings for Leia. I was just wondering if maybe he would be willing to take a trade-off Leia.

 

Um didn't Anakin somhow get half of the hapes fleet destroyed years ago?

It wasn't Anakin, it was his idiot uncle, Thracken (Snicker) Sal-Solo, who has yet to be punished for this act of evil.

Anakin just loaded the gun, so to speak, pinhead pulled the trigger when everyone else decided not to.

 

Which many people said was foolish.

I have very little doubt that the weapon could have eliminated the Vong threat rather quickly.

However it was unrealistic to expect a 16 year old boy to do such a thing.

 

But what was the tragedy? Please, anyone who has read DJ. Didn't it say? The review on the official site(www.starwars.com/eu/news/2001/09/news2001094.html) says that in the Hapan Cluster, the Jedi are held responsible for a tragedy long past. Is it mentioned in the book?

Personally, I hope that it has something to do with events in Red Flame, Blue Sky and that the Chiss involvement with the Jedi may have some vengeful motive but I can't decide because I haven't read the book (and I don't know when I will because the bookstore in my town is really slow at getting books) and no one will tell me.
